Service was good, the waitress was friendly and helpful. The menu on their website online was apparently very outdated so I was disappointed when they no longer had the Sopa de crema poblano and a bit taken aback to see the chilaquiles flight was not in fact $15.99 and included two eggs, instead the flight was $17.99 and the two eggs had an additional cost of $2. Any other protein had an additional charge as well which that could be expected. Of the three flavors the one I was most excited for the "creamy poblano salsa" was not tasty at all. I tried to eat that one but left most of it behind on the plate because it had a weird almost fishy taste and was definitely not creamy. The other two- mole and garlic tomato were good tho! My friend also enjoyed her chorizo tacos. Overall the value for the cost paid for chilaquiles was not there as $20 for three piles of chilaquiles is quite pricey to say the least. It wasn't bad, but I probably won't go back. A note to the restaurant - it's time to update the menu on your website as it's severely outdated and can leave a bad taste in your consumers mouth both figuratively...
Read moreOverall, I'd rate it a 3.5 but I decided to round up because our waiter was very nice. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't as flavorful as I would have expected. I am guessing they are considering the demographic around and actively chose to tone the flavors down. The chilaquiles flight was much bigger than I was expecting. You can definitely share this with at least one other person. I ordered the poblano, chipotle, and mole. It all seemed to be missing more flavor because they were so muted, but ok. The steak came in small cubes and was not as cooked as I would have liked. we also ordered quesabirrillas, which the kids said were good. The chorizo tacos were okay, pretty standard, hard to mess up. They enjoyed the peanut salsa, the green habanero was ok, we enjoyed their green tomatillo one the most. But they also have a tomato and arbol one that just again didn't seem to have much flavor. The horchata and lemonade was really good. I don't think we'll be back any time soon but the prices were very reasonable and might be worth a trip...
