Harbor freight in general deserves 5 stars.
The customer service at this location deserves 0 stars. The employees here clearly come to work to run a cash register and get a pay check. It's hard to get them to care about much else.
I purchased a folding trailer from this store. They had me pay for it first (which I was fine with) and then rolled a cart out from the back room with 2 boxes beat up beyond belief. The cardboard was torn apart and you could see pieces of the trailer inside that had been scratched and beaten badly also. When I asked the sales person for a different box, they replied "It comes from China, they are all like this". After arguing for a bit more with no progress, I took the original boxes home only to find that 4 pieces were bent very badly. I Immediately took those pieces back to the store and asked them how they expected me to assemble a bent trailer. The manager magically had another box that looked brand new and replaced the damaged ones. Overall, this was one of my worst customer service...
Read moreToday (sat, august 20th, 2022) I came into this store for the first time. My first time at this location, and my first time at harbor freight, and I was nothing BUT impressed. The tools are pretty decent seeing as most of the people on here complain they are “from china” and “cheap” but I’m going to be an auto mechanic and the tools I bought have been all fine (Pittsburg 130 piece tool kit with case, oil filter pliers, and more). The customer service was EXCELLENT! I was honestly in a kind of “bleh” mood in the morning as it’s 9 am, but Jeff W at the cashiers window greeted me with an enthusiastic “good morning!” and I could do nothing but smile. I even spoke to the supervisor, forgetting her name, but she was such a nice, respectful, young lady. A couple others helped me out with finding different products around the store also. Honestly, Some of the people on here seem to just complain about petty stuff. Grow up and leave an actual review for once, not complaining because you want to but for an...
Read moreLow-cost, often low-quality “Made in China” type tools and hardware. Cheap tarps. You don’t want to buy something here that you plan on using frequently; this is more for items you don’t expect to get a lot of use out of before it breaks. We prefer tools that last a long time, and prefer buying US products when possible, but sometimes money is tight and sometimes these are good enough.
Staff are always helpful and know where things are. Cashiers are very friendly. As much as there’s tons of inventory in the store, I’ve never seen it less than clean and orderly. There are almost always discount coupons, and often freebies, if you have the right coupon for that too. Google “harbor freight coupon” plus the month and year and you’ll likely find one. They honor online coupons shown...
