First, wasn’t really sure which shop it was because there’s no clear sign out front. The inside is very pretty. Definitely a hidden gem in cape may for cute insta pics. Although I feel there was too much time spent on the interior design than working out a smooth running business. Giving customers a table number to bring with them to where they choose to sit will help employees to find them when they deliver their order. Also, I ordered a breakfast sandwich on a plain bagel and was giving a burger bun instead. I also got the Nutty Monkey smoothie and it tasted off and bitter because I could tell the bananas that were used in it must’ve been green. If they had ripened a bit, the smoothie would’ve been sweeter and more enjoyable. Also wish the atmosphere was more polished. When you first walk it, the shop looks beautiful, but it’s kinda weird sitting in the back booth area facing this unfinished bar with random stuff in it and we’re too far away to hear any music playing. Overall, Golden Stop has a lot of potential to be great if time is spent adjusting things because the cute interior can’t carry the...
Read moreGreat new spot in West Cape May! Quick service, friendly smiling team behind the counter and in the kitchen, absolutely delicious, fresh food. We tried a fresh made juice blend, iced latte, strawberry waffles, avocado toast, and the caprese toast. You can indulge or eat lighter, they have lots of options. Our 18 month old loved the waffles with super fresh cut strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream, the avocado toast had generous toppings with pickled onions, feta, and watermelon radish, and they let us customize the caprese toast by adding over medium eggs and avocado. Their kids play area is a great to entertain the little ones while waiting for food to arrive, laid back atmosphere makes it less stressful while dining with a toddler! Perfect portion sizes, fair prices, and REALLY good food. Highly...

Currently if you're dining in, everything, including plates is disposable. Their light roast espresso is very good. Very friendly service. Nice atmosphere, though I think they could fit another 2 tables or so in the dining room for when it's busy. The food is a little pricy for what it is, so I haven't had the avocado toast or anything. Even just a plain toasted bagel is $5. Nothing to complain about except...
