As usual we forgot the pictures because as usual we were starving. Ok. I read all the reviews we went there with caution. The place looks run down but we went there for good tacos. Many complaint about size and taste. My bf can be ok with a mild flavoring me not much I like well made tasty food. We had goat and head tacos. Both were amazing we will return for tacos for sure. The sauce on the table was totally out of our tolerance for heat. Too picoso lol. We had a simple conzome super good and tasty not sure what others had but for mid week was good. He had a ramen birria bowl and he was fascinated with it. I have to say it was darn good. Almost as good a beef ramen in a Korean place. That good hehehe! The sizes were perfectly fine as they use double tortilla for the tacos. We paid about 40 but honestly the place is very humble, the portions are good and you are a hungry hound ask for large sizes and also be nice to the people here. They were very kind and nice to us we are a mixed couple and we manage a bit of Spanish. We definitely be back for...
Read moreI went out of work, and went by to buy a pound of birria in this place that for years frequent. apart that it's a problem because they only accept cash, and very expensive by the way. They don't have creativity like other places where you literally order broth to carry. and wrap it well, so that it doesn't break or throw the broth. They don't have the decency to cover your obvious comfort if it's to carry you should still be well wrapped up. I speak by phone with the same person who took the order and wrapped it up. and told me oooh is that your fault got wrong in your car and that's why, I quit it isn't the first time I put something like that in my car. If something's well wrapped, it's not gonna spill, throw or break. Now my car is all dirty inside smells like birria and it's a very penetrating holor. I didn't eat because I tried to clean up pays more than anywhere else costs the birria, and now I have to pay to wash my car...
Read moreEXPENSIVE TAQUERIA Many restaurants nowadays are short staffed and this restaurant only had two employees during the time of visit (11am).
Food: We ordered a birria taco combo ($21.99) and a birria ramen ($7.50). Birria taco was decently sized with 3 tacos with your choice of beef or goat, side of rice and soup to dip your tacos in. I personally don’t believe it was worth the price. A regular taco dinner ($15), here they add the cup of soup for an extra $7 almost.
Birria Ramen: they use a bag of Maruchan chicken ramen noodles and their traditional soup. The portion was pretty small for the price paid.
Pricing: CASH ONLY For two the price is roughly $50-70 for a lunch meal...
