Juice House — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

The juice is a bit overpriced but good. My main issue is that EVERY time i am here any time near closing the environment is absolutely ruined by the owner trying to leave early. It can be an hour before closing and I am waiting for someone to take my order because they want to prep for closing. I have literally seen the owner turn away customers because the juice machine was cleaned 30 minutes before closing. Not only is this ridiculous but is creates an environment that is unwelcoming for the customers in the business trying to enjoy their juice.

If you need to be walking out the door exactly at closing then adjust your hours accordingly so customers don’t feel rushed to leave in the last hour of business. Juice and food is good but they tend to close an hour before closing time. It has happened basically every time I’ve gone here near closing time. The owner has also claimed to “never turn down a customer” in another review but I have literally witnessed her tell customers 30 mins before closing that the juice machine is already cleaned for the day. Unexpectedly delicious! First time visitor and I can honestly say, I see why they are so busy! They have a nice variety of juices, smoothies, snacks, and bowls. The Alkaline Balance (added turmeric) and the one w/ sweet potatoes are all hits! Next time I will definitely order a large versus to a small! While the waitress staff was super friendly, there was no greeting and it kind of felt like being at a club and having to catch/yell at the bartender aka juicetender 😂.
