Heard music coming from inside on a Sunday afternoon (3:00pm) so decided to stop by. The place was about half full, a lot of bears fans wearing jerseys. We sat down at an empty table, but immediately garnered confused looks from the other patrons, so it was quickly obvious that we didn't belong. Before we could decide whether to stay or leave, a body guard approaches out table. His body language was clearly aggressive, almost seeming ready for a physical altercation before he had even spoken to us. He says "this is a private party, you guys should leave". To be clear, there were no signs posted outside, the door was open, none of the tables were marked as reserved; there was 0 indication the bar was closed. If he had phrased it more politely or approached us with less aggression, we would have kindly left. But he came across as threatening and insisted on escorting us (5 feet to the exit). My husband gave him the finger (still leaving the bar mind you). The bouncer then proceeded to pursue us out of the bar and down the street, berating my husband about his gesture, asking if he "had something to say". The bouncer only physically stopped when I stepped in front of him and stated that he was rude. He would not make eye contact with me and seemed ready to continue following us down the sidewalk if I stepped out of his way.
Really wild behavior. Truly uncalled for in any circumstance. If the bouncers here can't manage a sober couple willingly leaving, how can they be expected to handle...
Read moreI was there last week on Thursday and open up a tab. I order "one" of $6 draft beer and through out the night my friends were buying me drinks. So when I went to close out my tab, they had charged my card for 3 beers. so I asked the bartender for a list of my chargers and she gave me a reprint of the same receipt of the total (because she couldn't produce a list of my charges) so at this point the other bartender gets involved (an older bold headed man) I explained that I was over charge for what I ordered. He then said "it doesn't matter, your card was already charge because we have a $10 minimum I told him that wasn't told to me and that there isn't any posting of a $10 minimum at the bar. thats when I told him that I should of been asked to either 1. buy more drinks to reach the minimum or 2. pay in cash. But all he said was, "its to late your card was charge already" be careful when opening a tab in this place. I will never step in this place ever again and I will tell my friends about this and how I...
Read moreThis is the first time I have written a negative review. I have been outside of the country for a year, fell out of habit, and forgot my ID to the first bar I visited on my return (this one). I was respectful-- didn't order drinks, didn't ask for favors-- and as my party deliberated on what to do, the bouncer demanded we leave the vicinity. It was -10 outside. I asked if I could wait for an Uber just inside the door. He became angrier by the minute, shouting at me and making a scene, claiming management could NOT have me inside the door. We were not confrontational, and I am still stunned at how horrendously we were treated.
Management: THIS IS ON YOU. Any respectful bar would have politely accomodated the potential customer as he/she waited for a ride home, and I would have gladly returned with proof in hand. As it stands, this is the worst customer experience in my 24 years of life. Thank you for a horrible, twisted welcome...
