Without a doubt, everyone needs to eat here. Let me say I am an anomaly...I do not really like chicken. That said, I LOVE THE CHICKEN. I eat chicken if I have to, but here I would request it. Delicious, well seasoned. Moist and yummy.

And there are options for you too if you are like me and dont want chicken but want to experience a taste of some South Carolina grub. You can order a pimiento cheese stuffed portabella cap, breaded, on your sandwich.

The Chicken Not So Waffle with the portabella cap is downright life changing. Pair it with about the best sweet potato fries anyone could ask for and it is lightning in a bottle. And the sweet tea...mmmmm. If you want to experience truly delicious Southern style sweet tea, get some here. Just get here well before the end of the lunch hour or they may run out.

The seating is very limited. I had come with my baby and toddler with the hubbs and we were on top of each other on a little two seat table. We were also there in the middle of lunch time so it was extra busy. The lack of seating doesn't change my star rating cause the food is far too bangin' to be affected by such a thing.

Do yourself a favor and give them a try. I was hesitant in believing this was a good place for lunch on Valentine's day, but the delicious food changed my mind. The staff was also quite amazing and service was quick.

Please. Do not miss out. Support this business so they can open a South Loop location where I can go on the daily...dunno if that is in the books, but please the SLoop needs this! I need it. You are going to learn you need it and want it close to where you spend your time...

The place is just basically a good spot, and, of course, with good food. I went here for the first time just to try their food since my friends were encouraging me to pay this restaurant a visit. I go by this area a lot, but I never got to try this one. Their menu is the first thing I noticed that is placed on their wall. Their menu is basically just options for chicken sandwiches. I got to choose my own protein, and the choices were fried, grilled, or pimiento-stuffed chicken, and I chose the fried one. They also have a "build your own sandwich" option. I also add their hand-cut fries. The prices, I must say, are fair and reasonable. It is not expensive and it is also not too cheap. The customer service is excellent, as are the prices. The staff behind the counter are very nice and friendly. The restaurant is small and, although there are seats available inside, I chose to take my food out. The service is somehow quick. There was a short wait, and after that, I was able to receive my food fresh and hot. The food has a nice portion. The chicken sandwich is not too big or too small. The chicken was nice and tender. I also like the spicy mayo in the sandwich, which gives a nice kick to the flavor. Overall, it tastes really delicious. The hand-cut fries are fresh, hot, crispy, and well-seasoned. I must say that going in here for the first time was worth it because I was able to have a lovely experience. I will...

Since the first time I went to this restaurant, I have always liked to come back as much as I can every time I have a spare moment or if I am around the place. This restaurant is a great spot for breakfast and brunch. It has a designated location which is very accessible. It is a small spot, but it is always clean and bright. The ambiance is also nice. The staff are very accommodating. They would always greet every customer with big smiles on their faces, and they are so polite too. Their menu does not have a variety of options, which is why my only favorite is their chicken sandwich. When it comes to the food, everything I order is always fresh and hot. I love their fresh and hand-cut fries, which are always crunchy and seasoned to perfection. It also has a huge portion, which is definitely reasonable for its price. Then, their chicken sandwich, which I really love. Like the fries, the chicken sandwich also has a huge portion, especially the chicken. The chicken is so huge that it is crispy on the outside and definitely tender on the inside. It also has a nice flavor or light seasoning to it, which is why I love it so much. It is also topped with some fresh veggies, making it taste even better. I just really love this spot. The service is great and the food is delicious, plus the prices are reasonable. It is just so amazing, and I highly recommend this spot, especially if you...

I had a really tasty lunch today! It was my first time visiting Boxcar Betty's.I got The Betty with fried chicken, fries and peach coleslaw. The fries are hand cut and seasoned well. I am not a big fry fan, but these were really good. Some pieces were crispy and crunchy. The sandwich was really good. Thick cut pickles, a good size of breaded chicken, with pickles, lettuce and tomato. I will definitely visit this place again. There is available seating, but maybe about 10-12 seats.

Great lunch spot in the Ogilvie Transportation Center. This was the best chicken sandwich I've ever had. Chicken was fried, homemade pimento cheese, spicy mayo, and the peach slaw was perfect, tangy and sweet. The pickles were fresh, bright, and crunchy. The only downside is their hours are short focused on the lunch crowd so I don't know when I'll be able to return. $12 chicken sandwich and fresh cut fries (not soggy).

First time ordering from this spot. Happy there was a salad option. If I ever get it again I'll ask for the fried chicken on the side so it doesn't cook the mixed greens in the salad. Not as pretty as I wanted or expected. The fried chicken was a bit too salty for me. I took it home to add a few of my own ingredients to jazz it up a bit. It was an 'ok' experience. I'll get a Sammie next time around.
