Giant line outside to make it look busy. Finally got inside (paying $40 cover per guy) and the inside is like a large shipping container that has decorations hastily thrown up (I get why their social media hasn't shown the inside of the space at all besides the bathroom). The bar takes up most of one wall like it's a school cafeteria. Music was blaringly loud, DJ wasn't very good. We stood right in front of the bar for 5 minutes before even getting acknowledged, and there wasn't even anyone ordering ahead of us or anything. My friends who exclusively drink grey goose + red bulls ordered their usual, and immediately said something was off with the vodka, definitely wasn't Grey Goose in the Grey Goose bottle. When my friend was telling me this and pointed at the bottle the bartender hid it under the bar. Tried to go upstairs (this place is billed as a "dual experience") and was told tables only, even though there were plenty of empty tables that no one was even at. This place is all marketing/hype, and definitely won't last long. I don't think many people will be coming back after their first visit.

This is what Fulton market needed! I had the privilege of attending Carbon Chicago on the night of their grand opening, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Beautiful visuals, sexy cars and great people. From start to finish, the experience and energy was flawless. The interior is sleek, sexy, and immaculately maintained. The two figurines are the staple and their beauty can be seen anywhere. Shoot even the bathroom was nice looking. The staff truly were the best. Warm, welcoming, professional — they made us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality left me thoroughly impressed. Had a chance to grab food which is Michelin star made. The menu featured à la carte dishes of filet mignon, tartare and caviar that balanced creativity with flavor. Paired with an excellent bottle selection, Clase Azuuuul!. I’m also highly interested in the bottle keep program as I’ll be frequenting this. In short: Carbon Chicago hits every mark. Classy chic and cool. If you’re looking for an unforgettable night out in Chicago, this is it. I can’t wait to go back.

The next hottest spot in Chicago to be!!! Food was absolutely amazing, got the chance to try a little bit of everything and let me tell you it did not disappoint. Service honestly took me by surprise. Bartenders were super friendly, talkative, AND were willing to recommend me drinks as it was my first time there. Atmosphere is unmatched for Chicago. I have partied a lot within this city and once you walk in it’s definitely like no other venue. Strongly suggest trying food and staying for the night experience after.

I do not usually write Google reviews but if I am writing one it means the place went above and beyond my expectations. Carbon is easily one of the best spots in Fulton Market. The atmosphere is amazing, perfect for grabbing dinner and enjoying some incredible cocktails.

What makes Carbon even better is how the vibe transforms at night. Dinner flows into a lively upscale nightclub setting with great music, beautiful decor, and an energy that makes you want to stay. It’s a new venue so you know the entire space is spotless, the service is refined, and the liquor selection is truly top shelf.

If you want a place that has it all, from amazing food to premium cocktails to unforgettable nightlife vibes, Carbon...
