Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

Customer service is not good there at all. Cashiers as well as managers need to be trained better on their own menu to better communicate how to order correctly from said menu. I ordered a 3 pc MIXED chicken. She hands me all dark meat. I tell her that I order a mixed. She then gets an attitude and starts to mumble under her breath about it. She switches out one of the pieces and hands me the food. I leave and check the food in the car. She replaced one of the pieces with a nugget disguised as a wing. I bring it back in to talk to the manager about it. I told her I ordered a mixed and got a measly shriveled wing for the extra money. The cashier says what’s the problem she gave me a breast, upon which the manager opens the box and tells the cashier that there’s no breast in here . Then she says she gave me what I paid for after saying there’s no breast in the box. Then states that I should’ve told her what I wanted specifically. How am I supposed to know unless the cashier lets me...

While the chicken & okra were wonderful, it took me @ least 40min (from parking to driving away). For a take out fried chicken restaurant this was far too long. The ordering windows were very disorganized & were where I spent most of my time, though the # of people in the store ordering weren't that many. I realize they may have be getting phone & online orders as well but still... The reason for the low score on atmosphere is because the dining area is very small & there weren't really any tables & chairs ment for eating @ inside the resturant. The couple they had, had people waiting for take out orders sitting @ them or were surrounded by others, (also waiting for take out orders) milling around them. They were out of the pies which really disappointed me since they looked delicious on the picture. I may try Church's Chicken again next time I'm in the city, but probably not...

Call myself treating myself, and I got treated!🙁 Ordered the two piece mixed, told the cashier that I didn't like breast meat, an asked that she give me anything but that. I also requested an apple pie. I should have check! You guessed it, a big ole breast right on top. Oh and she forgot to give me the apple pie I paid for. Of course I didn't discover all until I got home and i wasn't up to fighting rush hour traffic to go back. So, I looked up the store phone number on line, because of course she didn't give me a receipt and the number is no longer in service. Then i check out YELP to see if they have a different number listed, they did but guess what? The phone must stay off the hook cause I got that signal you get when you call a radio station an all the cicuits are busy, and I called at various different times.
