I recently visited Texan Taco Bar for the fourth time and sadly, my experience left much to be desired. While I had high hopes for this popular spot, I was left disappointed by several aspects of my visit.
First and foremost, the quality of the food was a letdown. After multiple visits, I had hoped for consistency, but unfortunately, the food fell short of expectations. The flavors seemed lackluster and the overall taste was underwhelming. It's disheartening when a place you once enjoyed fails to maintain its culinary standards.
The crowded and loud atmosphere made it incredibly challenging to enjoy the rooftop area. The excessive noise levels made conversations difficult, detracting from the overall ambiance. It felt as though the place was bursting at the seams, raising concerns about safety and the lack of a capacity limit. It's important for any establishment to prioritize the well-being and comfort of its patrons.
Additionally, I was surprised to find out that Texan Taco Bar does not offer complimentary birthday shots. It seems the owner does not believe it's worth the loss. While this may be a minor detail for some, it's disappointing when establishments fail to acknowledge special occasions for their customers. Small gestures like these can go a long way in enhancing the overall customer experience.
Despite these criticisms, it's worth noting that Texan Taco Bar does have some redeeming qualities. The atmosphere, apart from being overly crowded and noisy, has a vibrant energy, and the rooftop has the potential to be a great place to unwind and enjoy a meal with friends. The service staff were generally attentive and friendly, trying their best to accommodate the large number of patrons.
My repeated visits to Texan Taco Bar have left me with mixed feelings. The declining food quality, overcrowded atmosphere, safety concerns, and lack of complimentary birthday shots have unfortunately overshadowed the positive aspects. I hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and works towards improving the overall experience for their...
Read moreAutumn hates her job or didnt want to work for the holiday and it showed. My solo date was short lived due to her disposition. Everytime she had to come up to me seemed like such a dreading experience for this young lady and please dont ask her a question it may annoy her too bad. Her demeaner was nonchalant, standoffish, and just UGH! Fast fwd to food Chicken taco meat was the texture of a well done steak, reheated for the last 3 days, overcooked. Cod taco came with 13fries and a 1inch piece of cod…🥲 Shrimp taco…mid
More drama ….I asked Autumn for a side of red OR green sauce. She bought BOTH and charged me $4 for each. 5minutes after I got my food i receive my salsa in bowls the size of my elote🤣😭not only that…chips and salsa cost $5 in the menu why didnt you just bring me chips as well instead of two BOWLS of just salsa. No server experience or common sense. Maybe have a conversation with your guest if youre going to charge the price of a meal for SALSA or learn to upsell and offer me chips for an additional $1 because theres was nothing i could do with two bowls of salsa for the skimpy tacos😐 The bowls of salsa were so obnoxious that it took the staff 7 minutes to find something to take it to go. Because why wouldnt i take my $10 worth of salsa home?☺️ do you all not have ramekins or feasible sizes of condiments? On top of getting frustrated and now tossing things on the bar top in front of me…I was over it left peacefully. if she unfolded her arms a bit and relaxed maybe she wouldve felt lighter. Overall the atmosphere here is great but the dark cloud at the bar…made this so unenjoyable. I was willing to dismiss the subpar meal based off vibes alone but im just one person I cant imagine bringing a group here….first and last time here. So much potential… Bill was...
Read moreA Flavor Fiesta at Texan Taco Bar! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Texan Taco Bar, and it was nothing short of a flavor-packed fiesta! The ambient and vibe of the place immediately caught my attention as I stepped in, a secret door disguised as a refrigerator that added an element of intrigue to the whole experience. The moment I settled in, I knew I was in for a treat. The lively ambiance created the perfect backdrop for a memorable dining experience. The decor was tastefully done, adding to the overall warmth of the place. The food was luscious! I ordered the CARNE ASADA, and it was a culinary masterpiece. The mezcal-marinated 8oz center-cut skirt steak was cooked to perfection, boasting a smoky and savory flavor that left my taste buds dancing. The salsa de casa added a delightful kick, complementing the steak beautifully. The accompaniments were just as impressive. Grilled jalapeños and cebollitas provided a satisfying crunch, while the charred tomato added a burst of freshness. The cilantro lime rice was fragrant and flavorful, and the charro beans were a comforting side that rounded out the meal perfectly. The service was prompt and friendly, with the staff adding to the overall positive experience. The menu offered a variety of tempting options, making it a place I look forward to revisiting to explore more culinary delights.
