Vienna Beef Factory Store & Cafe — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

What an odd little hidden gem. This location is a mix of factory, deli, restaurant, merch store, and museum. There's a deli counter that sells all their sausages (including the ones they sell at Wrigley), meat sticks, lunch meat, and tamales, plus all the stuff you need to go with it like condiments and pickles and buns. They also have bulk freezers, in case you need a 5 gallon bucket of roast beef. There's a little display with tourist-y type merchandise like posters, t-shirts, and golf club covers. There's a history museum part somewhere, but we didn't check it out.

Then there's a food counter which serves up all the sausages and sandwiches. It's a bit unorganized, as there's no signs telling you where to order. This results in the cashier yelling at you and pointing vaguely until you finally find the right person. Most unpleasant.

We went here for their 125th year anniversary birthday party. It was a fun filled day with food (hot dogs of course), soft drinks, music, guest speakers and a tour of the Vienna Beef Hot Dog History Museum.

The Vienna Beef History Museum opened on May 30, 2018 and I was told it will only be open to the public thru August of this year, 2018.

This was probably one of the worse stores i been to in awhile they got my order wrong twice in the span of three people they brushed me to the side and had me waliting there while they served like 5 other customers but i guess cause they were white businessman with suit and ties and i was hispanic in a basketball shorts and a marvel punisher shirt then when they finnaly had the food ready she got the order wrong once again and didnt charge me for specials instead chargein me for each item seprately thus over chargein me wheb confrinted they said that how the receipt displays specals honestly it felt recist like they were treating me bad so i would never come back cuz most of there customers were white business man i didnt fit...
