Cat the waitresses was less then desirable. Initially when we walked in to the restuarant and there was nobody there. The waitress cat said sit anywhere you want and couldn't be bothered by escorting us to a table. Once we set down, we received the worst treatment. Cat the waitress took 10 minutes to come back and asked if we wanted her to take our order. We gave the order and never saw her for about another 10 minutes. Once the first round of food came, we asked her for wasabi and ginger and she brought one portion. In addition, she acted very put out. At this time there was only 3 other tables being served. While we sat and waited for Cat to return, we were grossed out that the bar top, menu, soy sauce bottle where sticky and absolutely gross. We asked Cat to help us clean the items and area and she made us feel like we were unreasonable. Our hands stuck to the bottle, our arms stuck to the counter and the menus stuck to each other. In retrospect, we should have left, but we stayed. We ordered our food, and it took 10 minutes for her to bring us our drinks. The food came approximately 25 minutes after we ordered. Cat never came back to check on us for 45 minutes later she asked if everything was okay? In between, we had a fabulous male waiter named Philip who asked us if we needed anyting? We explained our situation, he handled it. In the meantime, we used the restroom. It was disgusting! There were no seat covers. The buildup of dirt and grime on the tile was unexcusable. The drain cover was not attached and you could literally have twisted your ankle in the size of the hole. Again, we don't know why we didn't leave. The food was delicious. We really enjoyed the company of people that we met at the bar. (That's the only reason why we didn't leave) The music was way too loud and was obscure artists. We really believe, management needs to be a lot more on top of what's going on in this restaurant. Towards the end of our dinner, we heard this crazy and insane noise that sounded like electricity zapping. We looked down the bar, and there was a bug zapper on the floor zapping bugs. How disgusting! We will never frequent this restaurant again! There needs to be a full rehal on the standards set by this company. This restaurant has great potential and location but will never amount to anything because of the low standards set...
Read moreI don’t really know where to start off!! I stay out of the city and tried to make it convenient for my friends and family to all make it on a Friday night, with another local that cancelled my reservations last minuet due to the amount of people in my party (30) when I tell you in a panic!! by the grace of God I found Sushi me Rolling Called and they booked my reservation shortly after I got a call from the amazing and sweet owner Karen, she reassured me that she will make it work and the amount of please in my party will fit just fine it was like a breath of fresh air. Not only did alllllll 30 of my guest show up but about 10 or more as well but Karen and the crew didn’t let that bother them as guest left they pulled more tables together and got to taking every ones orders without hesitation. Karen treated us like family no matter how loud we got (from all the laughing, cheers, and shots) all the way till the end!!!!!! NOW LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT THE AMAZING MIXOLOGIST PHIL not only did he keep up with all the drinks we ordered he gave amazing suggestions and kept them flowing all night for us even gave me a few bday shots on the house with no hesitation all he wanted was for me to enjoy my birthday with them and when I tell you that me and my family and friends did, the music was on point we sang to almost every song…… By far the best birthday I have had in a really long time and it wouldn’t have been possible without the help of Karen and her amazing team and chefs!!! Read moreWent here during soft opening and had a phenomenal experience. The staff was nice and friendly and were really helpful for what to choose in terms of my likes and dislikes. I even got to meet the owner and she was funny and charming. I would definitely come back again just to have another conversation with her and have some delicious sushis and rolls on the side.
This restaurant is located on Citrus St, extremely close to the 10 Freeway Exit. You can pretty much look for 85C from the freeway and try to exit when you see it so it won't be to hard to miss. The plaza has plentiful parking unless you go around peak hours, than there might be some trouble finding parking.
The decor is nice and quaint and serves for a calm mood for devouring plates on plates of sushi. I felt nice and comfortable considered i was going to reach a point of vulnerability with how full I was going to be.
Now lets get to the food. If you haven't figured this out already, this restaurant specializes in sushi. Not only that, but there is an option for an All You Can Eat sushi buffet as well as an al la carte menu. This really helps for those who already know what they want and do not need to use the AYCE option to try out new rolls or sushis. I came for the AYCE option because I really wanted to try out the special rolls and to see if I can make this my new go-to for my sushi cravings. Might I say I have found the place. The food is perfect. I love the fact that they also include oysters in their AYCE menu. Not only do they have an AYCE sushi option, but you can also order the ALL YOU CAN DRINK. So not only can you dive in a pool of delicious rolls and sushis but you can accompany that with a side of...
