I found this gem by accident, and from the moment I walked in, I knew it was something special. Arlowe, the barista behind the counter, greeted me with warmth and genuine professionalism. The space, filled with natural light and thoughtful design, invites you to slow down and look around.

As someone who doesn’t often drink coffee, I had plenty of questions, and Arlowe answered each one with enthusiasm. I learned that all of their syrups are crafted in-house using clean, natural ingredients, and that they’ve partnered with Intelligentsia Coffee, renowned for its smooth flavor and consistency. That attention to detail carries through everything here, from the ingredients to the experience.

When my drink arrived, I understood why Arlowe had been named Best Barista in Seattle. Each sip was rich, balanced, and made with an undeniable sense of care. While enjoying my coffee, I met Paul, the owner, whose thoughtful vision brings the space to life. His dedication to creativity, connection, and community can be felt in every corner of the café.

Depending on when you visit, you might catch a live DJ or their signature Traffic Jam Party, where the café transforms into a vibrant hub of sound and energy. And if you’re lucky, you’ll spot hummingbirds fluttering through the light, adding to the magic.

I love finding spots where my dog Morty is just as welcome as I am, and Collar & Foam has become one of our favorites in West Hollywood. The atmosphere is bright, modern, and super dog-friendly—it feels like the kind of place designed with both coffee lovers and their pups in mind.

The staff were warm and immediately offered Morty a water bowl and treats, which set the tone for a really comfortable visit. I ordered a latte that was smooth and perfectly made, while Morty soaked up all the attention from people (and other dogs) passing by. The seating setup is great too—plenty of room outside to relax with your pup while still being part of the neighborhood energy.

It’s rare to find a coffee shop that nails both excellent coffee and a genuine pet-friendly vibe, but Collar & Foam does it effortlessly. Highly recommend for anyone looking to grab a great cup of coffee without leaving their furry...

I stopped by here while waiting for a friend and an event nearby, and was greeted right away by Michelle and Char(r)ise (sorry if I’m misspelling!). Both were super friendly and helped me pick something based on other drinks I like. We ended up going with a custom vanilla + pistachio iced latte. Absolute perfection: smooth, balanced, not overly sweet, and a very fair price.

Afterwards I sat out on the patio and had a few longer conversations with Michelle while killing time, she shared great info about the area and the business and also took the time to learn a bit about me. The genuine hospitality made me feel like a regular on my first visit. Overall, an 11/10 experience. I’d love to come back any time I’m in the area and honestly, I might even make trips just to visit here again....
