Used to be my favorite place for about a year - 2-3 times a week until I found SPIT IN MY BURGER.
Always tip well, always polite but nevertheless somehow I needed up with a nice juicy spit right between tomatoes and lettuce and that was last time I ate there… and it was 100% spit, not sauce, SPIT. When I bit into my burger - there was a long slime between what was in my hand and my mouth - I opened it up and yup, nicely sized, thick and slimy spit - the one that you’d put effort to clear your nose and throat with to perfectly place it on a burger. Someone put nice effort! 🤷♂️🫢
The shorter guy at register - amazing! Always polite, sweet and always gets my order right - never issues and I always would check who’s there and if it’s him then fries always hot and crispy and food is great.
The tall black girl is a different story - and it was on her watch when I discovered the spit. I thought about why would they spit and frankly it’s most likely just for fun of it or maybe because I’m white or something but either way it’s not ok!
Funny enough, on the same day after I threw by spit burger away there was a hungry kid on a bike just hanging around so I asked if he’s hungry and I told him to order whatever he wants and that black girl at register thank me - the irony!
Since then, I can’t pass that place without vomit reaction. NEVER AGAIN!
I liked the food and location but now I go to Carne’s - much nicer burgers and actually cheaper and kitchen is open so you can see how they prep your food but frankly - there’s no freaking way I deserved that spit, i would not whine about it if I was even once a jerk or left less than 20-25% tip, always polite, perhaps not always without a headache but even then I do my best to respect staff and...
Read moreI tried calling today to complain about my experience here last night on independence day after 9 p.m. and of course the phone number listed won't allow me to call in!! Smh! I don't know any of the workers here and I felt like they had an issue with me as soon as I walked up. FACIAL expressions and energy is real!!! Costumer service is real! But it wasn't there at all. They all seemed way too detached from what their job is. That was absolutely the worst turkey sandwich I ever had from Irv"s and I paid almost $20 for this meal. It was made so sloppy and basically fell apart when I opened it. Ingredients were literally only on one side of the sandwich. It seems like it was done on purpose. When they called my name and I grabbed my food, the girl literally slammed the window shut and walked off. I was never rude to anyone there. I hadn't been to Irv"s since last year and typically loved their turkey sandwich. I woke up today with the worst headache and now I'm wondering if they did something to my food. I didn't drink or anything last night so I shouldn't be feeling like this and that was the last thing that I ate! I need a manager to contact me asap!! Read moreHey guys its a new dawn, its a new day and the front of house vs back of house mentality no longer works when it comes to uber, doordash, and other online orders coming into the mix. Ive gone here several times now and nobody is ever there to give me my pickup order. Glad today it was ready when I arrived but I had to stand there while the cashier was busy (no poblem there) but another employee halfway in the back a young male was just standing there and when he saw me at the pickup window which is a separate window made for pickups (literal eye contact) he looked the other way and proceeded to stand there. I opened the window, took my order from the shelf and said Thanks! Please if you are the manager of what seems like a great burger joint train ALL of your employees to be able to give out to go orders and be cross trained to do so. Im sick of showing up on time only to have to have a cluster of a wait time trying to have someone give me my pickup orders.
