Rocco’s management and security is dreadful and enables bad actors to ruin the night of its victims.
It is unclear if they are complicit, but they are certainly complacent with the risky environment their patrons are provided.
Most significant for all people: Rocco’s actively breaks covid requirements and precautions by not asking for or checking vaccination cards, exemptions, or masks when entering.
Additionally, the staff of Rocco’s actively mishandled a pick pocketing event in my group where something of value was stolen. We were worried that other people might be at risk and tried to notify the establishment of the incident, which proved difficult. It took notifying multiple security guards who said they would inform their manager in order to be introduced to “Gigi” who made us sign and provide personal contact information on a plain piece of paper that had been signed by many other people who had been pickpocketed the same night. This was suspect to us because they recorded personal details without recording details of the item that was stolen. After stating we identified a primary suspect who participated in the theft of the item, the Rocco’s team made it clear that this is a pervasive issue which they do not intend to solve.
My party will never again return to West Hollywood for a night out and hope that everyone avoids Rocco’s WeHo...
Read moreRocco’s is one of the best spots to eat in the heart of WeHo. In an area overflowing with overpriced food and wacky snobbery Rocco’s is a breath of fresh air! Our server on Debate Night 2024 was the reason Rocco’s gets 4 stars instead of 3. She was upbeat and high on life, charming and funny! The kind of person that makes you want to return to a restaurant and become a local fixture. She’s the opposite of the typical snob WeHo ratboys that they tend to employ as bartenders all over WeHo. You know, the guys that can’t smile.
Sadly the food here is weird. My pink sauce pasta was good but not al dente. The chicken was over grilled. The garlic bread was not that good. Our Pennsylvania pretzel was not half as good as Bavarian pretzels I’ve had in Los Angeles. Its shape is authentic to Pennsylvania though. The food is not cheap but I would not call it overpriced either.
The bathrooms are mixed gender I think. Kind of confusing situation. The old signs haven’t been taken off but there’s new mixed gender signs above the doors. The first stall I picked just wouldn’t lock. Imagine what a nightmare this can be for a buzzed person lol.
Rocco’s has the fun atmosphere WeHo is known for and provides great people watching opportunities.
Parking is a nightmare in WeHo so be prepared to use a structure. Meters are...
Read moreMy phone got stolen at this location a few days ago! The venue gets pretty crowded and apparently there is a network of thieves that frequently targets this location, so pickpocketing is super common! The management has taken NO STEP to curb the issue! NO ACCOUNTABILITY whatsoever! On the same night when my phone got stolen from my pocket (someone unzipped it and slipped it out in a matter of miliseconds), I met THREE other parties whose phones or wallets were also missing. The security is EXTREMELY weak and the staff members are useless– they didn't offer any help or guidance. I tried calling the club the following day and the day after and the day after but NO ONE picks up the phone. Horrible service! The least they could have done is to pick up the phone or reply to my emails and check the CCTV footage on the day of the theft. The most ironic thing is that the sheriff's department is right across the street and yet theft is SUPER common at this club (read other reviews/reddit posts/news articles about this location and you'll see!). Just be super careful with your belongings should you decide to go– I used to think I am extremely cautious with my stuff but yet got targeted! Just remember the thieves who operate here are...
