I bought 1 if each, not kidding. The highlights... the buckeyes were the tastiest of all their offerings. The kolachi, which they called something else, were filled with a nut filling reminiscent of pecan pie or a pecan tassie and the cookie was like a flaky sugar cookie. Not a kolachi, just like whatever they said it was, but I recommend them after the buckeye.
There was something satisfying about the raisin cookie, but as large as it was, with all the raisins, i might suggest it leans more towards a granola bar, or meal replacement hiking treat.
The others fell a little flat for me. I wish the sugar cookie w m&ms had more vanilla flavor. The peanut butter cookie waa dry, but not in a familiar crisp/crumbly way. The others I wasnt a fan of.
I chuckled at the powdered sugar covered "tea cookies".... usually 1-2 bite size, were like 5 bite size... so instead of a dainty tea cookie, I felt like you'd need a gallon of iced tea to go with it! Impressed they were cooked through, and the flavor was good,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've only ordered from Nancy B's Bakery one time -I have to say what we ordered was excellent. I thought I would reach out and order again. I called a week ago and tried to order something. He informed me to call back and order the day before because it takes about 8 hours to make the product I wanted. He advised they had several weddings and didn't have time. So today I called back again and tried to order. Now he tells me I have to give him 24 hours or two days to order because he had 15 weddings now. He was borderline rude! It appears I'm not the first one to think he is rude from another review on here. I guess they only care about the big business and not individual shoppers like me. Plenty of great bakeries in the Pittsburgh area to choose from! No more Nancy B's Bakery for me! PS- The famous chocolate chip cookies taste like peanut butter cookies to me! Just saying!

I went on a Tuesday morning to get some cookies as a surprise Valentines Day present for my wife with my 3 year old son in tow. The very nice cashier was patient as he reveled at the numerous cookies in the bakery case, and then let him pick an M&M cookie for both him and his sister (who was at school)- free of charge.
My half dozen very large and very delicious chocolate chip cookies were only $10, which is quite a bargain considering the area popularity of the item, and the current price situation for many bakery ingredients. Overall, a very worthwhile stop, complete with wonderful customer service and delicious cookies- could you really ask for that...
