Applebee's Grill + Bar — Restaurant in West Jordan

Went for dinner on the 4th of July. Had a fantastic waiter who was super friendly and had a great personality! I had informed her I have celiac (gluten allergy) and ordered the same order I have ordered for years without getting sick, my husband placed his order and about 25 minutes after ordering we received our food. The plates piping hot, but the food was cold. The waitress joked with us saying they had just come out of the microwave. Only it wasn't a joke.. I only had the chance of taking about 4 bites of my food before I was running to the bathroom to throw up... meanwhile my husband's food was dry and cold, he had to ask for the sauce for his pasta dish which was brought to him after they microwaved it and told him it was fresh out the microwave. When my husband notified the manager that I was in the restroom throwing up from the food cooked and let her of the issues we had with our meals, she took only my chicken meal off and told us there was absolutely no chance of cross contamination happening at her restaurant. (There was another guest sat right next to us, who also has celiac, she was brought out a salad with croutons, and had to ask to have it remade so there was no cross contamination) My husband couldn't even eat his meal either, from the fear of his meal not being cooked properly, as well as out of respect of me not being able to eat. When mentioning this to the manager she just said she could collect our payment. Overall this was the worst experience I have ever had at any Applebee's! And I have eaten at several Applebee's in several different states. This was a true disappointment! We paid for an entire meal for 2 that completely went to waste and received absolutely no genuine care or concern from management for customers getting sick off the food made at their store. 0 out of 0 start! Will not be back! Pretty upset I had to go to Walmart to buy dinner after spending the money for dinner at Applebee's! Pretty damn...

Worst service ever!!!! Went in with my family. My husband and I wanted to order a drink so we ordered are drink with are server Deb and then waiting for the lady to come check are I.D well during the time my husband realized he left his wallet at home stated this to are server Deb. and even told the lady who came to check are I.D and shes said okay no worries, and came and brought both mine and my husband drink even thought my husband forgot his I.D and clearly stated this before are drinks were delivered to us. A few seconds ofter the drink was placed on are table. not even long enough for us to have a sip by some lady are server Deb came back and snapped at my husband asking if the lady came by to checked are ID and and my husband said yes cause she checked my wife's. And she asked if she check his. He said he didn't have his ID. And I even told her once again that she checked mine him but he didn't have his. But the one lady still brought his drink anyways. Well then Deb grab his drink and told him thats she could lose her job over this and now her and the lady who gave us are drinks are getting in trouble amd was basically blaming my husband for them bringing him a drink that he flat out told them he didn't have his ID. He didn't even take a sip from it Once they brought it over. Spoke to the manager who basically seem like she didn't care one bit that her server Deb embarrassed my family in front of several other people. Shes snapped at him loud enough for all the tables around us to turn there heads and look at us! All for her to give us a 4.99 off right after I told her I would like my food to go cause I'm very uncomfortable now cause everyone was starting at us because of the server Deb!!!! Will never come back to this...

UPDATE - No One from Applebee's corporate or the West Jordan store contacted me after I left this review. Shows me they don't care about customer experience. In the hard economy we live in my dollars matter and I am not going to take them to a place that doesn't care how they treat customers and provides bad food and service.

My recent dining experience with Applebees in West Jordan was not enjoyable and very disappointing for spending nearly $100 on dinner. Let me be clear on everything that led to this low rating. Our waitress must have been working all day because she needed to check her hygiene, needed deodorant, it was not pleasant when she would come to the table. My wife's tortilla soup was bland. It came out twice, the first time we had to send it back because it looked like it had been sitting under a warmer for an hour and the tortilla stripes were soggy. All of the food, all of the food came out at different times. At least 10 - 20 minute gaps only bring two entrees at a time for 6 people. The host's, a guy didn't seem to happy to have people coming in that day. His greeting was not pleasant and was uninviting.

It was just over all not pleasant based on the above. I filled out a survey on the company website from my receipt, I asked for a refund because of the horrible service and it was denied. Instead I got offered a "free date night" and asked to come back and endure this again. Really...
