My family and I were there on a week night. We made reservations and were promptly seated. Our waitress was friendly and wanted to be helpful. She made an excellent cocktail recommendation. Unfortunately, she was as slow as a snail. We ordered three of the same cocktails and one beer. Two cocktails came out quickly, while the third cocktail and the beer came out 20 minutes later.
Bless her heart, as sweet as she was, she was just slow to bring out our water and to check on us (I have a 2 year old and needed a spoon and extra napkins).
With her snail like service, she was kind and eager to please. The tip we left was because of her.
The problem we have is with this restaurant franchise.
I ordered the eggplant, my father the pepper steak, my mother the Mongolian beef, my husband the pepper shrimp, and my daughter the honey crisp shrimp.
A big problem here is the way our plates were presented to us. The sauce from my eggplant dish was all swished around, the rim of the plate was dirty and dripping down underneath. My shirt was stained by the messy plate's sauce. Everyone's plates was presented sloppily.
We all tasted each other's plates. My eggplant was BLAND. I didn't even take home the leftovers. My father's pepper steak had too much pepper- it didn't taste balanced. Everyone else's food was just okay.
The biggest problem I have with this franchise is that we have to pay $5 for a side to go with our entree.
The entrees do not come with a side of rice or lo mein. So we're paying on average $20 or more for an entree alone. No side dish comes with it.
It is not hospitable nor is it good business to charge your guests extra for a small bowl of rice. It was just a disappointment from beginning to end. We have no intention or interest to ever patronize this...
Read moreWe made reservations in advance, and when we arrived (6:00) we were seated quickly. We were more than 8 feet from any other table. We ordered the pork and shrimp dumplings and some wonton soup. Everything was delicious flavorful and hot. Kids (3) got plain chicken no sauce. Lemonade and pineapple juice for drink. My wife had the sesame chicken and I had the Peking duck (seasonal only). Everything was cooked perfect and served hot. Me and my wife had the Mai Tai is was good but strong. We did not get coffee or dessert. I am considering this place for our soon upcoming Christmas party.
Edit: we came back again March 2022 and had an early dinner (2:30) with friends. We ordered appetizer, sushi rolls, dim sum shrimp and pork dumplings, smoked pork ribs and tempura spicy shrimp. Changs lettuce wrap. It was all delicious our favorite was the smoked ribs and tempura shrimp. We had great conversation and watched the place start to fill up before we ordered our meals (4:00). We had smoked ribs (really good, tender, juicy with a mild smokey flavor), salmon which also was good, seasame chicken (sweet & tangy) slight crush on the outside. Oolong Chilean Sea Bass over a bed of spinach was excellent and light. It was a bit sweet, the fish is flaky and very tender. A mild taste for those who like a mild fish flavor. We also had the beef with vegetables also good dish. My oldest son wanted to have desert so we decided to get some deserts and those sparklers. It was a big hit. They even give you take out containers and plastic bags for the food you can't finish. A must for any...
Read morehad the absolute pleasure of dining at P.F. Chang’s recently, and I have to say, it was an incredible experience from start to finish. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, inviting, and full of energy. The lighting, décor, and overall vibe created the perfect setting for a relaxing yet enjoyable meal.
What truly made the night exceptional was our server, Royer. He went above and beyond to ensure our experience was nothing short of amazing. Royer was attentive without being overbearing, always making sure our drinks were filled, checking in to see if we needed anything, and offering great recommendations from the menu. His friendly demeanor and genuine care for our dining experience really stood out. It’s rare to come across someone who not only does their job well but truly elevates the entire atmosphere with their personality and professionalism.
