Chang’s Food — Restaurant in West Valley City

Amazing food! Amazing place! This is the best Chinese food that I have had in the US. I’ve tried many Chinese places but this one is definitely top notch. Their service was great. Our waitress was super sweet and she answered a couple of questions that we had in a very nice way. Keep in mind, the portions are BIG. Two people can easily share one plate. They are very generous with the amount of food that they serve. Their prices are very fair and they serve a lot of food, which is great. We had their papelon con limon to drink and it was soo good! They also gave us coffee for free after our meal and that made the experience way better. We were on vacation and went here because a friend of mine recommended it. I wish we had a place like this in Orlando, FL. If you are Chinese food fanatic, you MUST visit this place. You will thank me later ☺️

If you are from Venezuela, esta es la mejor comida china/Venezolana que vas a probar. 100% recomendada. El papelon con limón es otro nivel!

I was excited to try the food at this restaurant but left disappointed. My wife and I went for dinner on a Thursday. Both the food and the service were below average. The special Chang’s rice was not fresh, only the shrimp was fresh. The egg rolls tasted frozen. Sweet and sour chicken was overly dressed with sauce. Ribs were though and didn’t taste fresh either. Portions were reasonable for the prices. Service was not very attentive. Took long for the server to take our order, and even longer to get a refill after receiving our food. One server was restocking the fridge while the other was sitting down on a table. Manager Jimmy Chang was very polite and check on our table, finally gave us some refills, and some take out boxes. PLEASE NOTE that they include 15% service charge on your bill regardless of the party size. It is never good when a tip is included on your bill already when the service doesn’t deserve. I don’t think I will be coming back, very disappointing experience after choosing to dine here instead of many options out...

I was in the area, looked on google maps and found this place that has a 4.7 rating. Noticed that it is an Asian Restuarant, so I decided to give the place a try. The 4.7 didn't reflect my experience, small place, portions are a good amount, but the flavor is not what I expected. Ordered the beef and broccoli, had a hint of Asian flavors but watered down with beef gravy flavor. Coke didn't taste like coke, had to wave down the server to get any service to the table, which was surprising with the small size of dinner and abundance of servers. Sitting next to the cashier station only to observe servers gathering there to sing along with music that is playing in their establishment. Flag down server to just to be charged for a different table's food, talked with the cashier and had it fixed, but also there is a 15% fee add for tips already, and when paying it is going to ask for an additional tip, heads up on that.
