I'm not one to be easily offended by the average customer service rep. I understand they are basically telling me whatever their company wants them to say for the most part. Having said that, I had an absolutely terrible experience with this location's drive through.
My fellow eater ordered their food first (a plate with white rice, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken), we were told they don't have teriyaki chicken. OK. Annoying, but hey, stuff happens. So they got double orange chicken. I ordered a large side of the same entrée, being told they don't have enough to make that order. I asked about a different entrée - nope. Can't order it.
Finally, getting a little more annoyed at this point, I ask what they have. Kung pao chicken. That's my only option? I asked, incredulously. Bree (Brie? Bri? Idk spelling) said yes.
I asked how long it would take to make more of my preferred entrée and was given a lecture about how I'm not the only customer and that the kitchen is too far backed up to wait for anything. I would swear the speaker was dripping with disdain with how rude she was. I was surprised because most panda locations will give you an estimate of how long it will take and let you wait but this time I was told that I couldn't even place my order.
I would have understood if it was remotely close to closing or if they were short-staffed (which we asked about) and it turns out they were fully staffed AND! There was more than an hour and a half before closing.
Anyway, we end up getting the few items they would allow us to order and the plate came with rice aplenty but only about 12 pieces of chicken, clearly scraped from the bottom of the wok. Read moreWell, I really didn't want to write this review, but when you are not open during the scheduled open time, I felt compelled to share my frustration. We arrived at 11 AM today, and was told that "My openers did not arrive on time" and that it would be 30 minutes before they would be able to take orders. I left extremely frustrated, upset, and even more hungry than when I arrived.
There are more glaring problems beyond just this issue, like the small portions I was given during prior visits, but I will focus my comments on the terrible management of this particular Panda Express. I get that this location just opened a couple months prior, but when your WHOLE opening team does not arrive as scheduled, it screams that there is a serious mismanagement of resources.
The "manager", and I placed quotes because of the poor service shown to me, was extremely unprofessional, lacked any empathy to the hungry customer trying to place an order during the scheduled open time, offered no concessions for the time and money spent to drive there only to turn around and go somewhere else.
So, after taking a trip and my business over to my trusted Panda Express location, had a polar opposite experience, bigger portion sizes, service with a smile, and when they ran out of small entree boxes, we were given the larger size at no charge.

Details: Went through drive through to order family feast, 2nd in line. Worker told us they were out of Beijing Beef and we would need to wait 10 minutes. Our kids were hungry, so we decided to order something else instead so we would not have to wait. We ended up having to wait more than 10 minutes anyways.
We paid for the food and were then asked to pull around and park up front and wait, because our food was not ready. They gave us a flag to put on our car. We parked and waited more than 10 minutes. I decide to go in and check. It was at this point that I noticed the sign on the flag said, "Have you been waiting more than 8 minutes? Receive a 2 entree meal for free on your next visit."
I went inside and saw that it was almost empty. 2 people were eating inside. Two more were waiting for to go orders. NOBODY was in line or at the register. I went to the register and had to wait another 2 minutes before a worker came to ask what I needed. I showed them the flag and said, "Hi, I've been waiting for more than 10 minutes for our food." The worker said, "Oh. Sorry about that," and then gave me my food in the bag and walked away while I stood there. Nothing else.
