Tropical Smoothie Cafe — Restaurant in Westminster

I actually really like the smoothies here and the food is pretty good! Definitely healthy options! However, I’m very disappointed with my last couple orders.

Today, I ordered the Chicken Caprese sandwich. This sandwich comes with tomatoes which is really the reason I ordered it. They did not put tomatoes on my sandwich. This is the second time this has happened. I got over it the first time, but by the second time I was annoyed.

I did order DoorDash while I was at work so I did really understand them not able to do much. They did offer me a free sandwich, but I didn’t really want that. I just wanted the one I paid for to have just been correct. Since I was at work, I couldn’t really leave to go pick up a new one. I did get a refund from DoorDash. I have hypoglycemia and my blood sugar was low at this point so I really just needed to eat and didn’t feel like dealing with it any further.

It was just really disappointing to order from a place that can’t seem to make an order correctly and then not be able to have anything done about it. I get that’s a risk you run with ordering DoorDash, but it would be nice if they were able to make menu items correctly. As I said, it came with tomatoes. I wasn’t adding them. I did not ask to have the sandwich altered in any way.

Id like to start off saying i genuinely enjoyed the food and the smoothies here. i came here a few times and had good experiences each time, except for my last visit. i had gotten three smoothies one night, one for me and the other two for two of my friends. all three smoothies were different but all three of us had gotten HORRENDOUS food poisoning from them. i dont know what the common ingredient is in them but we know for sure it came from the smoothies because it was the only thing we had gotten and the last thing each of us had that night. the two stars is for the first couple of pleasant experiences ive had but you guys really have to check the ingredients or expiration dates on things because getting people sick is the last thing a smoothie joint should be doing. we would have loved to return but its hard to do so when you know it had previously made you...

I ordered a fairly large order $100+ on the TSC app and when my order never arrived, I found out it had been delivered to the wrong house nowhere close to mine. I tried calling the store for help and they said I had to call door dash, so I did and door dash said I had to call TSC. So I called them again and he said I had to call door dash again. No one would take responsibility for it but I’m TSC’s customer. The TSC then said the manager is only there once a week but he will have the call me within an hour.
