We had some friends from NYC visit which revealed an abhorrent lack of diners in my local restaurant repertoire so we made it a goal to seek an old reliable diner experience..
quick google search around me indicated a very close, very consistent diner which, for having been born and lived in South Westminster for the vast majority of my life, I was severely lacking an experience with. so upon the discovery that there was no syrup in my pantry for a home-cooked breakfast, we brushed our teeth and headed to Nancy's Cafe.
planted in a former Walmart parking lot for about the last two decades, Nancy's Cafe is well worn and obviously also well-loved. we were lucky enough to have Nancy herself be our server. breakfast was impeccable. fast, hearty, cooked the way we requested everything. i would not hesitate to have breakfast there again! husband said he's looking forward to trying out the tuna melt for lunch soon!
if you're looking for a refined, polished, bougie breakfast experience keep moving and looking. if you want a friendly, well-loved, and fast diner- this is your place!
thanks for the brekkie Nancy! we'll...

Sorry Nancy, I didn't know he was around still when I was homeless around your Cafe for a year, until my mother had the decency to let me know. Especially when there was a concerning white Econoline van that resided in that parking lot for a period of time. Thanks for the good breakfasts and giving me work for the short period of time I knew you, but this is the best way to cut ties and let anyone know, I'll never become a man, if a man is that poor excuse of a being that is your...
