Last week I ordered for delivery, using my account that I use every time I place an order, prepaid and tipped on my credit card and as always put leave at the door. The driver called and said he was there and I said he could leave fude it in the foyer, I was coming right now to grab it. When I got to the main entrance of the building, I didn't see the food anywhere. At which point i tried calling the number the driver had called on back, and received no answer. At which time I called the store, the phone was answered by Amy. I explained the situation and was appalled by her unprofessional and rude reaction. She flat out told me I was wrong that it had been delivered, like I was lying. I asked if she could ask the driver what the front looked like of where the items were left. Thinking it might just be a little confusion with GPS, and if it was in the neighborhood I could go grab it. She refused, providing neither a remedy or actual customer service. I told her I was appalled by her attitude and said that after this experience, where I am out not only the meal I was waiting on but my payment, that I can't imagine ordering from them again. She said that would probably be for the best and hung up. I emailed a complaint to customer service on dominos.com and still have not received any response, 5 days later. Extremely disappointed, that every facet of my experience was met with a customer service level unbecoming to such a large company. I will be choosing a different pizza company for all my future...
Read moreI placed an order last Tuesday for a large three-topping pizza ($7.99 deal). I requested over the phone three toppings and was confirmed. I arrived and got the pizza and looked inside and saw only two toppings. I asked the guy who confirmed my order and he said they didn’t carry one of the toppings. I asked him why he didn’t tell me that over the phone so I could have switched my topping. He didn’t have an answer and just said, “We’ll, you’re only getting the pizza for $7.99.” Really? Maybe because that is the price you had on line for a THREE-topping pizza. This is not the first time Domino’s has been an issue. They have not been forthright with prices being raised over other items that add expense that don’t fit the “coupons” they offer...you have to always double check with them the final price. Find a more competent pizza place.
UPDATE: I was finally contacted by the store manager, Derek. He was very professional and thorough are resolved the issue and compensated me. He went over and above to make sure that my issue was dealt with and will not happen in the future. Read moreI ordered the 2-pizza deal and 16 boneless chicken wings. I ordered in-store, but I didn't check my order before leaving. The food was for my daughter's birthday dinner. I had to drive ro Chicago, got caught in traffic, had to stop at store before getting to my daughters house. When I started to set up the food, I noticed 12 instead of 16 boneless wings. I called the store and the girl who answered the phone asked me " oh, so you just now calling? I replied with are you calling me a liar? Then she said that she had to speak with her manager. She then returned to the phone and said that it had been too long since I picked up my order and unfortunately they couldn't do anything. When I told her how far I had to drive, she hung up the phone on me. Horrible I will be reaching out to corporate. Very rude staff! Although I work 1 block away, I will never patronize this place again. Go to the Lisle store on Ogden. I need to add that the following morning, my daughter called and spoke to the manager who was very apologetic and promised to refund the entire $40.00 that I'd spent.
