Arrived at 8:00PM. It was one lane at drive thru. The wait was 30 minutes. Ordered 1 box combo. Drove home, which is 15 minutes. Ate my toast and bread on the drive home. Got home, opened the box, saw the hot tenders melted the styrofoam. Did a quick google search, found that is not safe to consume. Disappointed, called the store. Spoke to manager Alex who said they would fix the issue, just return when able. Came back at 10AM the following morning. Provided the box with the tenders. Explained it wasn’t safe to eat. Immediately staff fixed the issue, threw away the food. Opted to eat instead and use their plates. Got a call from their customer service regarding the situation. They immediately apologize. Inquired if the company considered using an alternative box to styrofoam. Was told there were discussions nothing in stone. They offered to make it up to my family. The customer service was better than expected on resolving the issue. In person, no one brought forth a manager or shift leader. However they handled it quickly. Wasn’t looking to eating lunch at 10AM, but got the chicken I paid for. Thank you. Three stars more so regarding the box. I cannot be the only client who has had this experience. If you’re using a fryer and hot food can melt styrofoam, and that leeches into people’s food, I don’t understand how giving the food in styrofoam is even being done. For toast? That’s ok I guess. But now I will have to double check boxes every time I eat here and question if a 15min drive home will affect the box’s integrity.

So we finally hit up Raising Cane's. The line was ridiculously long, but we only waited 10 minutes, which wasn't too shabby. That was definitely the highlight of our experience. I'm not a fan, to say the least. All they serve is chicken fingers and a chicken finger sandwich - talk about variety. The three chicken fingers you get might as well be an overpriced kids' meal. And don't even get me started on the soggy fries and plain bread. I'm still trying to figure out why people rave about this place. Ten bucks for three chicken fingers, a handful of undercooked fries with no seasoning, and a toasted hot dog bun with butter - what a steal. And if you want lemonade, it's 20 cents extra because, apparently, they have to pay someone to put lemons in the machine. The chicken was decent, but nothing special - I've had better at other restaurants for a fraction of the price. And the 'deals' they offer? 25 chicken fingers for 42 bucks or 300 for 421 bucks - what a bargain. Needless to say, we won't be back.

Headed to this new Cane's. They used to be one of my go to's. Excited to see them in Wichita, but this town usually ruins any major chain that comes so let's see... Update: HAPPY! Food was fresh and hot. Everything was standard Cane's. Sweet teat was on point. The sauce had too much seasoning. Don't know how that happens unless they mix it in house. Idk, but no biggie. Plan for a little wait but nothing major. I didn't go through the drive thru but it looks like they're using the Chick-fil-A model so it moved fast enough from what I saw. I didn't see anyone bring up wrong orders and everyone was friendly and on their toes. Chicken Max has been dropping the ball without any competition. They better figure it out lol. Yay!! We have Cane's and it doesn't suck!

Very disappointed in my service at this canes. I've always loved canes back in Texas and always stop in OK, Kansas city. I've never had an issue. Since this location has been i've been 3 times. 2 out of the 3 now they have messed up. The staff don't seem very nice to deal with when you request the issue be fixed. Today's experience was frustrating, I drove all the way to canes to get my family dinner, we requested NO coslaw extra toast. The receipt said it as well. Drove all the way home and obviously to our suprise there was coslaw. Family was disappointed so I drove all the way back with the food, and the staff seems annoyed that I even came back in... They didn't remake my meal like usual and by the time I finally got back home with the 2 toast I drove all the way back for our food was cold and soggy. I wouldn't have driven all the way back but this is the second time it's happened. If i'm spending $25 on fast food i'd expect it to be fresh and served right. It costs the staff $0 to make things right so I have no idea why they were frustrated that I wanted things made the way...

Wow… what an experience. Wichita finally gets a Raising Cane’s, and apparently, the entire city showed up. The drive-thru was wrapped around SIX city blocks like they were giving away free Teslas. So, thinking we were clever, we went inside. Only a 20-minute wait — not bad for opening week.

I ordered the 25-piece Tailgate, expecting that famous crispy, juicy Cane’s chicken everyone raves about. What I got instead looked great… until it hit my taste buds. Golden and crispy on the outside — smelled decent — but the flavor? Oh boy. Imagine licking an old, overworked deep fryer. Bitter, burnt oil flavor drowned every bite. Sweet and savory? Nope. Just “sweet regret” with a side of “why did I pay $45 for this?”

Honestly, I didn’t know Sam’s Club was running a fried chicken masterclass because their frozen chicken tastes better than this. At this point, I’m wondering if the line was actually people waiting for refunds.

Raising Cane’s, I get that it’s opening week, but serving chicken this bad should be a crime against...
