If I can give them no stars I would.
Me and my friends travel around the United States searching for gyms. We went to wildwood NJ for the first time and after we went to the gym we decided to find some place to eat, we were desperately hungry & at the time (12:00 AM) this place was the only thing open on the board walk. We stopped to order in & the bossās wife is the one who took our order. She was very nice and we loved her. We all got some cheeseburgers and fries with a drink that came up to about $16 each. Little high but understandable that itās on the boardwalk. We sat outside by where the glass was showing the pizzas. One of the workers who was working was cleaning the glass and was spraying windex all on the glass with the slices of pizza underneath. As a restaurant owner my self I wanted to snap but I kept it cool. I was assuming they were just going to be thrown away after but they gave them out. The people in the back were eating food on top of the food they were making for the next day. All the pizzas looked as if they were prepared last night. And then again. Iām not from NJ but in DE you must wear gloves when you are cooking. But this is not the worst that has happened. This young adult. Came next to my friend to wash the glass from the outside was spraying the windex again & with the wind was blowing into our food. At first my friend asked him to not clean around him or wait. Told him to atleast spray on the towel first then wipe. The kid told him thatās what he was doing. (No he wasnāt) then my friend told him to get out of here and let him eat because he was passed off at that & the kid said āwtf are you going to doā. We had to stop my one friend from charging at him because the kid turned around wanting to fight him!!! IN FRONT OF THE OWNERS SON. & he didnāt say or do nothing but tell him to shut up. We split the two together holding our friend but then the owners son got smart with my friend telling him to shut up, sit down & finish his food. After we talked to the owners wife and then this happening I feel bad for the whole place. The workers are really who are taking control of the business. They said theyāll do something about it but if one of my employees did that Iād fire them on the spot and make sure everyone heard that. If you embarrass my pizzeria Iāll embarrass you. I will never come here again. The boy is very lucky he didnāt get hurt. Not a threat but if you do that to the wrong person it could go...

Sat down and ordered drinks without having a menu to know the prices of anything. Finally got drinks and menus to place our order. Waited a considerable amount of time for only 4 slices of pizza and sides. Food came out and was sub-par at best for the surprise that was the bill. Looked over the bill to realize a lot of the prices were rounded up and inaccurate compared to the menus we were provided with. When the waitress came over, she informed me that the only price wrong was the amount for 2 pizza slices. She also said that the menus we were given were old with old pricing. She then proceeded to make a smart remark that I could come up front to see her add everything up on a calculator after I had already added everything up and double checked my math on my calculator with the prices on the menus we were given. I was given the new bill where the 2 slices of pizza and a side now had different prices from the original bill. The new bill was still inaccurate, but I was already annoyed from the endless waiting game between ordering, food, and the bill and the quality of the food. The waitress also informed me that sales tax was 9% when NJ is only 6.625%. I don't need to spend almost $50 for sub-par food, an extended wait time and a waitress with an ignorant, condescending attitude. Save yourself the time, hassle and money....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFranconi's had been my go-to place on the boards for over a decade now. I have consistently recommended them to large numbers of folks including the business I manage. However, I have noticed consistently during this summer my order is never done properly. I generally order a chicken cheesesteak platter which includes fries and coleslaw. Several times I have received it missing coleslaw and despite asking and emphasizing 'fried onions with oregano' on it, it completely lacks not only the fried onions but absolutely no cheese as well. What gives? I could easily overlook this if it were an exception but it has been consistent for me all this summer. A cheesesteak with no cheese? Please.
My most recent order did at least have the coleslaw come with it and the fries were a decent portion amount. I also appreciate the late hours of business here as well as the discounts available, though it seems I am not privy to some of the more generous ones given to boardwalk workers and such. In closing, I won't ding the quality of food as it is still tasty enough and I do appreciate the conveniences but there are other options and I have found some satisfying ones.
No more recommendations, the bucks...
