Outback Steakhouse — Restaurant in Williamsburg

July 2025, Shane and Michelle (manager) were running back and forth serving us very well. Went downhill when the bill being split took too long and several trips to our table to ask us who is on this bill or that bill. The previous weekend, Deacon and team provided excellent service. Baked potatoes were not good at first but Deacon got us fresh baked potatoes and they were good.

January 2025, Kayleigh and team provided excellent service and the food was amazing!

July 2024, Brandon provided excellent service. We called prior to arriving, we were seated immediately upon arrival and food arrived at the table quickly.

January 2024, Alejandro provided excellent service. He gave us everything we wanted and more. The food was delicious and we highly Alejandro. MJ, another server stopped by to speak and provided excellent service as well.

2018-04-01 this is NO April fool joke, we were not pleased with Outback steakhouse, today. Plenty of tables were available, we had to wait for some time to be seated, lady waitress was nice but service was slow, steal was overcooked (they did cook another), no bread was brought to one of our tables until 30 minutes later, we were a family group of 18, they seated us at tables and booths.

2017-08-16 server was nice and some guy there (manager?!?) works really hard to make sure everyone is happy, he goes around to almost every table, helping servers to make sure everyone is happy with the service, that guy works so hard that you can smell the sweat on him, he's a really good guy and I like that he works so hard to make sure everyone is happy, he even told me what happened with my steak, someone else ordered filet mignon, I ordered filet mignon too and I got the pink steak and someone else got my well done steak, I cut into the steak, it was pink and the lady waitress recognized immediately when I showed her, so they took my steak and later brought me a well done filet mignon and the guy (manager) told me that my steak was switched (by mistake). The filet mignon well done was soo good! Call ahead seating, call ahead seating, call ahead seating! I did the call ahead seating for 6pm, and we had to wait almost/about 20 minutes to be seated; we saw many others coming in after us and they were told that they would have to wait 40 minutes, and we were seated before some other people that were already there waiting, and I saw some others that were seated before us. One couple came in and sat down immediately at a booth near the bar, that area may be a first come first serve for those that walk in, they walked by the hostess desk and assumed they could sit down, I talked to them and the hostess told them to go ahead and sit down.

2017-07-21 called twice to do call ahead seating, I scheduled on the first call and then updated the time on the 2nd call, when I arrived, host desk personnel told me that he didn't see my name, he told me it's not busy and I could sit anywhere, so he sat me where I wanted to sit. First, greeted by a nice young man that took my order, brought beverages (bread too, I think) and he said that your server will be right out. The guy that took my order described the salad really well and gave me a few recommendations since I asked him for recommendations on what to order. The garden salad was excellent and fresh warm bread was too. The 2nd bread seemed to be reheated and crunchy, unlike the first bread which was warm and soft. Filet mignon had fat in it and was not cut like filet mignon at other restaurants, I did not like it. Sweet potato was okay. My wife loved the cheese fries and the fresh garden salad and bread.

The service was extremely disappointing at this location.

Our server didn't bring us bread until after we were done with our appetizers, after telling us that she was going to at least two times. She took away my utensils and food that we were still working on. Another server brought our salad, but she didn't know what she was carrying, so almost took it back until my wife pointed out that it looked correct. Then, when we recieved our main dishes, I had a slow roasted prime rib placed in front of me when I had ordered a seasoned and seared prime rib. I looked at the other server who had brought the dish, and asked if it was seasoned and seared. She said that it was the regular and offered to take it back. Our actual server then appeared and asked if there was a problem. When I said that I had ordered seasoned and seared, SHE LOOKED ME STRAIGHT IN THE EYE and lied, insisting it was seasoned and seared, as though a lack of searing isn't visually obvious. She said she could take it back if I didn't like the way it looked. I said that I would rather have it taken off the bill. A short time later, Mandy introduced herself and asked if there was a problem. She clearly hadn't been briefed on the incident, so we had to explain it again. She offered to bring the correct meal or something else, but at this point we weren't trusting the kitchen. She didn't offer to comp even a glass of wine. Our bill was brought to us with no opportunity for dessert. We could tell our server was busy, and would have forgiven other missteps, but lying to our faces was...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Absolutely Fantastic Experience at Outback Steakhouse!

We had an incredible meal at Outback Steakhouse in Williamsburg. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was spot on.

We started with the Mac 'n Cheese Bites - they were crispy, gooey, and packed with flavor, a perfect way to kick off the meal. The bread served alongside was fresh, warm, and incredibly delicious, setting the tone for what was to come.

For our mains, we tried several dishes: The Chicken Tenders & Fries with Mac n' Cheese were a hit! The tenders were juicy and the fries were perfectly crisp. The mac n' cheese was creamy and comforting. The Bloomin' Fried Chicken was a standout; the chicken was tender with a delightful, seasoned crust. The Prime Rib with Baked Potato was cooked to perfection, tender and flavorful, with the baked potato being a classic, tasty side that complemented it well. The Lobster Tail was succulent and well-seasoned, making it a luxurious treat.

Service was attentive and friendly, enhancing our dining experience. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual and special occasions.
