This place is not recommended

We arrived to our reservation at 730pm all was good and pleasant. The server was good she bring our drinks, appetizers order another round. Then order the food. After waiting 1 hour we ask the server what is the status and why the table next to us get food first? She responds that table order ahead inside, you dinner is almost ready. Then a guy dress black came with an attitude to tell us your meal is in 3 minutes we responds ok let's wait.

Then show at the table a lady in a serious upset with no reason and tell us to get out and no paid anything I will your bill. Was very bizarre. I was with local people I was the only person out of town.

We never argue and we never raise our voice. This lady has situation with others customers or other things. She discharge all her anger on our table and all the people around watching the lady scream on us.

If you are short staff reduce your tables reduce the amount of people getting in. You can have better service and the kitchen can work more relax.

As I know this Friday is the first Friday with some town party well be prepared for the event and the amount of customers visiting the restaurant.

If the kitchen run slow then talk to the customer let them know the situation, offer a round of drinks and other appetizers that simple. We went to have a good experience No some attitude. Don't treat local people like that. The local are the one supporting...

Absolutely Awful. I am speaking here on behalf of both aspects: the restaurant and staying as a tenant. First off restaurant, yes I understand we are in a pandemic - but my girlfriend and I ordered nachos, a burger, and a chicken breast special. Nachos as an appetizer took 30 minutes. An overly cooked burger and nothing special chicken breast took nearly another 30 minutes after that with no apology on time or if they were short staffed. The sangria was not worth the price that day. The nachos were good, everything else was atrocious. Also, I lived upstairs 2+ months and it was horrible as well. All hours of the night people throwing it sounds like glass into numerous garbage cans, the road is so narrow and they make you park your car 3 blocks away, drunk hoodlums at 2-3am, and on weekends after like 7 you enter through the bar to get to your room, in which patrons including staff for some reason stare at you like you have 7 heads. They put a lock on the side gate, which is stupid in my opinion since it’s not like someone is going to want to hangout in your decrepit outdoor patio. Also, the manager Johanna is very rude and has no position to be there alongside some bigger gentleman.

This place in terms of food and stay is awful. Pick somewhere...

I am a chef in town for work purposes. I am always looking for a great meal when I'm out of town and thought I'd found just that based on reviews of this restaurant. However, this was not the case. They do have a nice atmosphere and good service but, the food left much to be desired. I ordered the bone-in pork chop with risotto and a mango salsa. The chop was burnt and cooked extra well done and the "risotto" was actually orzo pasta and not the risotto that the menu describes. If a patron makes a complaint the incorrect answer is that we're short staffed. Everyone is short staffed and a true KM or Chef would never serve sub par food especially at the prices your establishment charges. So, long story short after spending $55 including the tip I still ended up having to go get a $5 pizza that is much better than what I consumed at this restaurant. So, please do yourself a favor and try another establishment because this one is not it for a foodie nod a food service professional searching for...

Old Corner Hotel is a high end restaurant and bar. The staff maintains an all business approach that seems a touch cold at first, but ultimately provides highly attentive yet unobtrusive service. In both a business group and on a date the food and conversation were able to take center stage. The drink selection seems to lean on more upper shelf offerings and ranges across neat options (whiskeys and bourbons), both classic and modern mixes, a selection of craft brews and armchair pilsners/lagers, and rounded out with most popular varieties of wine (including sparkling, of course). The food is outstanding, and delivered quickly considering each entree must be prepared individually. Finally the desserts are first class. I usually don't make special mention of desserts, but these are truly special, with the cheesecake churro getting into my top 5 ever, right next to a tiramisu I had 20+ years ago. They do have a large bar which seemed to have the same professional experience.

I was in the area and had a wonderful dinner at the Old Corner. The dining room is beautiful and was surprisingly quiet at 7:30 on a Friday evening, granted this was my first time, but the bar area was packed. The focaccia was amazingly fresh and I can’t rave enough about the pickled peppers served as part of the dipping ensemble. Amazing and unlike any bread dipping mix that I’ve ever experienced. The clams casino was prepared very well and worthy of trying, but the clams themselves had a mediocre flavor. This place isn’t exactly on the beachfront, so I can’t fault them for the clam stock. For the main course I chose the filet mignon seared in a bacon-balsamic redux, medium, with mashed potatoes. The steak was a little beyond medium, but everything about it was absolutely perfect; so tender and fantastically flavorful. If I was still in town tonight, I might do it all over again.

Last night was my first visit, and I was pleasantly surprised. My date loves calamari, so we got that for the table. Unfortunately, that was lackluster due to flavor, texture and portion size. After the calamari, we were served focaccia with olive oil. It was delicious, I’d have eaten that over the calamari. Dinner and drinks were amazing. I had the Strawberry LI and it definitely tasted of fresh fruit. I enjoyed the prime rib entree, replacing the house potatoes with the creamy orzo side dish. I loved everything. The beef and the zucchini were both grilled to perfection. Our server, Devon, was terrific. She was kind, attentive, and thorough. She made sure we felt welcome and knew of the evening’s specials. I will definitely come back here on my next visit to Williamsport.
