We had reservations and were seated at 5:30 but nobody came around to us until 6:00 for our drink and dinner order. Our salads came out at 6:20. By 6:45, we were getting worried because we had 7:30 concert tickets nearby. At 7:00, we still had not received our meals. At this point, I asked our server to put them in to-go containers and to bring the check. By 7:10, we STILL had not received our food so I asked the manager to go check on it. He finally brought it out around 7:15 without any kind of compensation for waiting an hour and 45 minutes without getting our meals. I took the meals to our car and we proceeded to our show. When we got home to finally warm up our meals, half of mine was missing (no spaghetti for my chicken parm), and my son's boneless wings literally were the size of Fritos corn chips. Our waitress told us that three girls had quit earlier. That being said, they should've had a disclaimer stating how long of a wait it would be. A half hour wait would've been expected, and even an hour wait could've been forgiven, but no meal after 100 minutes???...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHad high hopes for this place. The concept of the restaurant and dishes were great, but the execution was lacking terribly. We had the Italian red hots (just ok) and the French onion soup (very good) for appetizers. The shrimp in the shrimp risotto dish were cooked very well, but the dish lacked salt, thus making it very bland and the rice was slightly under done. The two pasta dishes we tried were the sausage ragout and the chicken Parm. In both, it was clear that there was not a lick of salt in the pasta water. What chef does not salt their pasta water? Very disappointing. Our server Dianne was very friendly, but did not ask if we wished to purchase a second drink from the bar (even after finishing them before the appetizers arrived), and brought our check without inquiring about dessert. She also did not inform us of any specials of the day. Will chalk this visit up to still getting their feet wet, and will come back again another time for a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is my second time visiting to watch a sporting event at Lycoming College. In November I asked the bartender, :"how is your Cosmo"? and he said, "not that great". Later that night my son and I went to have dinner and we weren't even looked at for over 15 minutes. We went somewhere else. Tonight, there were two bartenders on and the cosmos were crap and all they did was gather at the corner of the bar and talk to other servers. It was absolutely ridiculous! We had the fried pickles and homemade chips which were great but after someone brought us the dish, the bartenders never asked if we needed anything, if everything was ok. They ignored us the entire time. Mind you, there were five people at the bar. As a bartender, don't you want the people who ordered an appetizer to order dinner too? If you don't check on them, they are out. Which is exactly what we...
