Imagine, at your own job, if you could turn off the lights, and shut everything down an hour early so you could deter customers to make sure you don't have to stay even one minute after closing time. Imagine going to a restaurant, a pizza place or any restaurant, and you get there an Hour Before closing... And they tell you only these words..."the ovens are off, we shut them off an hour before closing." Lol unimaginable bc it never happens. Just went into Jamba at 6:19pm on Saturday, 2/1/2025, wanted to order 2 waffles and 2 pizza twists and a smoothie, lights in the store are all off to make it look closed, was told that they cannot make the waffles or pizza twists bc they turn the oven off at 6pm, the store is open until 7pm....so why are all the lights off?... No apology, so matter of factly rudely saying this, with no apology or remedy...Why can't they still make food up until closing time?? I didn't even bother asking for a smoothie. This behavior by the employee does not sound right. Sounds like employees just trying to keep people out so they can leave early. Terrible. Will not be returning! Starbucks serves people whatever they want to eat or drink all the way up to the last minute before they close and they Never turn you away or turn off all the lights. Unbelievable that jamba is doing this. Terrible that they are trying to hide that they are actually open. Terrible that they would turn off their oven an hour before closing. Staff was rude. I was ignored when i walked in. I ordered the food and she just points to the oven and says, we can't, the oven is off, we turn it off at 6pm. That's all she said. No apology, no explanation on why the lights are all off and why they can't make food past 6pm. Had a very rude and nasty facial expression as will. Unbelievable. No more business from me and my friends, that's for sure!!!! Never seen this at any other restaurant or fast food place. Wow!! No wonder the reviews are bad! They need to hire all new employees!! Read more5/29/2025 Edit: I tried this location again in the middle of the day just to see if the service was better, but was once again met with disappointment. The girl working was on her cell phone at the register, not texting which I wouldn’t have cared about, but a call, and continued her conversation while taking my order, gathering the correct fruits, and blending my smoothie. There were opened, half-drunk Starbucks drinks strewn across the counters (not just one or two, probably close to half a dozen between the two employees), along with someone’s half-eaten burrito bowl from the Chipotle next door. I get it, you have to take your lunch break when customer flow dies down. But can you at least put your to-go container, USED plastic ware, USED napkins, and drinks in the back of the house? It looked like they were just eating it over the counter. WHERE they prepare food/smoothies. I’m not expecting everything to be sterile, but at least wiped down and free of outside clutter. The whole place kind of grossed me out. Lastly, with braces on for a fractured wrist and sprained thumb, I was handed an over-filled cup with smoothie oozing out of the sides - I asked her to please wipe it clean and she obliged. Didn’t really feel like having my braces smell like sweat and peaches.
P.S. Hey corporate, almost $9 for a small smoothie is absolutely asinine.
If I could give zero stars I would. My husband tried to come in at 7:15, 45 minutes before closing time. There were no employees, lights were dimmed, and the door was locked. The employees at this location are an absolute laughing stock, and they pull this kind of shit EVERY.SINGLE.DAY. They behave like they couldn’t care less about having a job. This location is also known for closing out cash payments 90 minutes before closing, so cards are the only acceptable form of payment. Never going here again, this...
Read moreI used to come here a lot last year and never had any problems but yesterday was horrible. I placed an online order for 2 smoothies at 8:05am because they were supposed to be open at 8am. Got there at 8:15 for my order and the place wasn’t open yet, waited another 15 minutes just to see if anyone would unlock the doors. I had to leave for work and them not being open made me late for work. So my mother in law kept calling the location to see when they were gonna open, turns out they didn’t open till 11! The opener or whoever overslept and no one got their online orders which is ridiculous, the owners or GM should’ve made sure someone was there to do their job. Online orders should’ve been turned off if no one was there. My mother in law picked up my smoothies for me since I was at work, the girls working didn’t even apologize for anything that happened and all they said was that “they overslept”. They need to be held responsible for not doing their job with opening the store. The GM is out of town for the week so shouldn’t she make sure there is someone responsible to open the store???
