Bernie's Espresso — Restaurant in Wilmington

We were in Wilmington, DE for work and luckily stumbled into Bernie’s Espresso located in the Riverfront Market. We quickly became regulars while in town. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, making fun and creative suggestions based on our preferences.

We tried several different flavored lattes and Cold brews over the few days we were in town, and they were all incredibly creamy, flavorful, and delicious. I made a pit stop in Wilmington to see what it was about primarily because I once lived in Wilmington NC on my way to NY. Wilmington DE wasn’t much… but I have been craving the matcha I got coffee shop for weeks now. Hints my delayed review. I don’t know what they use for matcha or milk, both were in the cutest unlabeled containers BUT it was delicious and I am on matcha 3 since having it and nothing has compared. Thank you Bernie’s Espresso for the most amazing matcha I have ever consumed… however it’s hard to face the reality I may not be able to enjoy matcha again with the comparison of yours...

I was in the area for my daughter‘s basketball game and was looking for a good coffee… This is the first time I had ever heard of the riverfront walk. First of all, the whole place there is just really a cool concept and as well done. I stopped at Bernie’s to get a latte… Absolutely delicious, nice and hot, and served with a smile and a little bit of fun conversation :-) the dill and feta scone is the best scone I’ve ever had!
