Star Grill Food Truck — Restaurant in Wilmington

Ok. So I've been reading the reviews about this amazing food truck located in the gas station parking lot of a BP. Sketchy part of town but it was on our way home today and we finally decided to give it a shot. It's in a smallish parking lot but we managed to squeeze in there nicely.

Ordered one lamb over rice platter that we were planning on sharing since my better half is very finicky when it comes to food. Should have immediately gone back to pick up another because we attacked that platter like neither one of us had seen food before. All of these glowing reviews on here for this business? BELIEVE. THE. HYPE. The lamb was so succulent and spiced well that it melted in your mouth. The rice was spiced perfectly so that they complemented each other beautifully. There's a salad with that meal too and everything was super fresh and on point. The chef was very kind too!

VERYYYYY delicious halal food! As my first time there, the owner suggested the star combo meal, which comes with lamb, shrimp, and chicken. Every meat is well seasoned and piled very high on a bed of curry rice...YUMM! To balance out all the flavors, the meal comes with a cucumber salad topped with creamy cucumber dressing. No hot sauce needed with the meal because it is already flavorful. I highly recommend this place. It is a food truck parked at the corner of a gas station with no seating area but I would not pass the food up! Definitely take the food to go and eat elsewhere. My husband and I were stopping by during our road trip so we just took it back to our hotel. Ordered From Door dash for lunch. My dashers name was a kind woman named Adina. Adina went to get my food with my name on her app and was informed that another dasher picked up my food already. She tried to explain to the store that Nobody else should've picked up the order if she was the ONLY ONE THERE to get it. I guess the store owner doesn't know how Door dash works because he had just Donated my food to some degenerate Guy who was NOT my Dasher and he wouldn't remake my order to actually give to MY Dasher to give to me.
