Last night was my first time visiting Bottega Art & Wine at the behest of the effervescent Karaoke Jock: DJ Damo, and it will not be my last time. I walked from the 1200 block of South 6th Street to the 700 block of North 4th Street and back, and there was not a disappointed bone or muscle in my body. From the Wine meister Dante's accommodating, Cool, and Masterful Service to the crowd of friendly folk who couldn't help but succumb to the "unique" style of DJ Damo's Karaoke show; I left with as much energy as I arrived, though I slept like a satisfied baby when I got home! I will be certain to conserve my energies and be there for weeks to come! I really appreciate the venue and will look into the other activities it hosts. I could go for a Sunday evening...

They had a couple indie bands the day i was there but i dont know if thats the norm. Seems to attract a 30s and up crowd. The interior is styled like an art gallery and it seems that people enjoy analyzing the art and sharing their creative interpretation. ย ย ย Read moreI'm going to be honest, a friend of mine is one of the owners. That being said, I have a reputation to uphold, so I'll be brutally honest. It's a really nice place, a bit nicer than my usual haunts. The wine list is really good. The bartender was super cool, and we happened to go on jazz night. I personally don't care for jazz, but the band was actually pretty good. It's near a bunch of other stuff in a really walkable neighborhood. I'd go back even if I didn't know the owner, just maybe not on jazz...
