Pantana Bob's — Restaurant in Wilmington

We recently had Pantana Bob's cater a party for us. We we're very pleased with the quality of the food and we received numerous comments from our guest about the size of the jumbo shrimp. If you're considering having an event catered, I recommend contacting their executive chef Montrel. He went out of his way to accommodate us and exceeded our expectations. On the day of our event, we discovered that he included extra chicken fingers, salads, sauces, utensils, paper products and many more. Montrel also checked in with me later that evening to make sure that our event went well and that our guests enjoyed the food. Their catering price was also unbelievable. After calling around to many restaurants, I quickly realized that no one was able to come close to their pricing. We had enough food to feed double the amount of people and everyone was very pleased with the flavor and quality. If you're considering having an event, I highly recommend calling Pantana Bob's and speaking with Montrel. You'll be pleasantly surprised to see what all he can offer, at an amazing price. I have been to this establishment at least 30 times. One night I went with 7 people and when I got to the door all my friends got in, mind you they’re all white and i’m Black. I’ve worn my Jordan’s to Bob’s many times. But tonight the bouncer said the rules were changed. So he wouldn’t let me in with my Jordan’s. So I went back home changed shoes and got back in the line. I was clearly wearing Nike’s not Jordan’s and the bouncer looks at me and says “I can’t let you in with those Jordan’s” I pulled up my pant leg and said these are Nikes’. Then it was almost like the bouncer was looking for any reason not to let me in. I was wearing a plain black long sleeve thermal shirt on with cacky pants. The bouncer then looked at me and said I can’t let you in with that plain tee. I was like this is not a plain tee, this is a long sleeve thermal shirt. Then the police officer advised me to leave. Best wings I have ever had chef Tony is the best! Unfortunately due to the new staff there we have been left out of the crowd for being a different race. The guy next to me being white was served within a minute, myself it was 13 minutes before the General manger acknowledged I was waiting to order. He had the nerve to tell my friend “You aren’t tipping so we can’t serve you anymore” when her husband and herself just got there. Pretty ridiculous when we always tip cash here. Bartender also closed our tap out but we weren’t done drinking and had the nerve to throw the tab at us and gave us the wrong card. She then proceeded to laugh at us while the general manager talked to us. Honestly worse experience I’ve ever had, as being business owners we would never treat our customers this way.
