Hello to everyone that sees this, I recently went to dine in with a couple buddies that I haven’t seen. We were in the mood for some Mexican food and saw a couple items in the menu that intrigued us. When we got to the the location the menu items were in the wall with no price, that was already a red flag and I thought to leave but we have drove so much that we thought might as well. One person got the 12 different meat taco special, my nephew got a dish called gringas”, and I got a fried fish. We than paid and saw the price for item and honestly $2.69 FOR ONE TACO is the most outrageous price I have a seen. My nephews dish looked like it was made by a 7 year old, it was just ONE flour tortilla with some melted cheese and a bit of meat and what looked like fresh out the can pineapples for $8-9. My dish wasn’t as bad but where it really got to me was that that waiter gave me MICROWAVED CORN TORTILLAS, I could tell because I have experimented this at home it has a certain smell to it and they all stick together and have a different texture to it. Honestly, I would not recommend this place at all. PLEASE LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE, if you want good Mexican food this is...

However, the quality and authenticity of the food was excellent. The tortillas were some of the best I've had in Wilmington and the chips were thin and crispy (hard to find). My husband (who is a meat eater) loved his food and was able to get shredded beef (something we can't usually find).
I loved the layout of the restaurant. You order at the counter and pay, then food is brought out to you. There is also a bar in the back. Despite the quick service setup, the space has a restaurant feel to it. Every single staff member was super nice and helpful. The service quality was excellent.
I think there's a lot of potential here and the owners could definitely expand into a higher price point with some minor adjustments. That being said, the prices were very reasonable for the...

I only ordered two tacos (pastor and lengua) but the man at the register wasn't having that. He said I'd want more than that so I said "what do you recommend?" He added two more tacos (chicharron and cachete). I didn't discover what the other two were until after I ate them and then read the receipt. I will say, three of the four four tacos were delicious. The fourth was good, just not AS good as the other three. I can't tell you what was what, but I'd order the exact same thing again next time without hesitation. I'm pretty strict on keto, and this visit was most definitely not keto friendly, but it was worth the splurge. I also got a Mexican Coca-Cola and then, after I paid, I saw that they had horchata... I must have been obvious because the guy at the register then just handed me a cup and smiled. Horchata was delicious as well. Overall a fantastic visit. I'm rarely in this area, but if I return, I'll...
