Ten Pin Alley — Local services in Wilmington

Lucky this place is getting a one from me. When you drive 2hrs to participate with your fellow sister queens for a Christmas party only to have a Karen (the owner), YES, A KAREN!!!! completely bother you because another party was scheduled the same day and the adults couldn't gather with the children to take a simple picture because we didn't have on bowling shoes when the adults let the children enjoy bowling. Not only that, but to be watched like a hawk. Yes, this is the experience I had. Never, ever I had to deal with a person like that. Not only that, we had special needs children and toddlers there trying to enjoy the festivities only causing one of the special needs have a mild seizure. No one couldn't even enjoy their pizza or drink for being harassed. Sadly, I drove from South Carolina to North Carolina to try to enjoy the festivities to only be talk down like a child or to be told where to go and what to do. I didn't know you can talk down to a 50yr old like a child, nor I didn't know you're my parents. Nope, you definitely don't have to EVER worry about me, my family or friends ever visting this establishment if we ever to come to...

BOWLERS -BEWARE - YOU MAY LOSE YOUR BALL and have no recourse!!!

We had our Family Birthday Party at Ten Pin Alley. in Nov 2021 The staff was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, my husbands ball some how got "trapped under the lanes" and never came back to us. We asked the staff for assistance explaining the situation. They said they were unable to get the ball at that time due to staffing shortages and how busy they were. They said they would contact us the next week. No one contacted us but we reached out to them several times. They said they still hadn't been able to get or locate the ball. We have contacted Margaret the owner numerous times to get this situation rectified . The 2x she responded she said they hadn't located the ball. Since then we have stopped in several times, left messages for her. The staff has put notes on her desk and she still not respond. This is unfortunate because we love bowling and now will NOT be using this bowling alley. It wasn't an expensive ball and the staff at the desk said generally they just replace the ball. Margaret has failed to fix this situation. So I had to make this a 1 star due to POOR...

Always been my go to bowling alley since around the time it was built! We used to go to Cardinal lanes on shipyard but once ten pin was built it's been the main place to go if I wanna bowl. I did used to bowl with my friend as a kid in a league at Cardinal lanes and always had a good time, also think we used to go on a cheap night in high school during the week. But saw some online complaints about Cardinal lanes the other day, no idea if they were legit but there sure was alot of people tagging on and agreeing that since new owners took over the lanes have gone downhill. Ten Pin hasn't ever been super great and for a while was much more exspensive but overall I've never really had a bad time there and always try to bowl on the 3rd from the right lane due to having good games there normally! Decent little pool table area there as well! Also def been to a few work party's at ten pin that were alot of fun and wld almost always end up across the parking lot at the other entertainment place. But the last time I went across the parking lot it was a terrible price and def way too expensive, so now a days I just stick to bowling...
