I really like what Ponysaurus has done with this space. It's a fun place to hang out in any season with 4 different seating areas that break it up and make it feel really spacious: front porch, hidden beer garden (dogs allowed in outdoor space), indoor bar area, and indoor upstairs. They put a lot of thought and effort into decor, especially around the holidays with lots of lights! There are a number of solid beers to pick from, but even better are the frozen cocktails and mocktails (especially on a hot summer day on the patio)! There is almost certainly a beverage for everyone here. They offer a variety of decent bar food options and snacks (the buffalo wings with ranch are great), but you have to order those using a weird QR code (some of which don't work, but you can't order food from the bartender) either below your barstool or on your table. The only service with the food is that someone will bring it to your table; there is no designated wait staff, which can be awkward if you need something. Overall, this is a fun place to bring the whole family or friends and I highly recommend for the vibes alone!

We decided to eat here after a trip to the Children’s Museum, we were walking by and thought, “why not?” And wow, we were not disappointed. We didn’t know what to expect but were quickly blown away. I don’t usually like ordering online at the table, but in this instance it worked to our favor because we had three very hungry kids and food came out very fast once we submitted our order. I ordered a GF pizza for myself and my husband along with a regular pepperoni pizza for the kids, some Thai chili chicken wings, and a GF burger with pimento cheese. First, this is one of the best GF pizzas we’ve had in Wilmington (second only to Benny’s) even my husband, who doesn’t have to eat GF, just does in solidarity, agreed it was phenomenal. Everyone was happy with the chicken wings and we loved the burger as well. Everything was a little pricey bc we had to pay extra for the GF items, but honestly I have to say it was worth the price. Overall we are extremely happy with the food and next time we want to eat outside, we didn’t even know they had a huge outdoor patio space! We can’t wait to go back.

First, it is a brewery and the beer was really good. I had a flight: Pilsner, Scottish, IPA and the Farmhouse ale. I was impressed with all 4. I even took a 4 of the pilsner home. I would love to give it 4 stars for the food, but they were missing a fundamental (to me) ingredient for pizza - Green Peppers. I love sausage with green peppers & onions. So l had the pepperoni. It was wonderful. You order & pay on your phone. It was a simple quick process. And the true test, it was nearly as good 2 days later when l heated it up in a toaster oven. They just need those sweet green peppers 🤣 P.S. (12/28/24) l had a white pizza with prosciutto and arugula. First, the prosciutto is shaved onto the pizza. I couldn’t even taste it. Second, the arugula isn’t cooked into the pizza. It was ok, but not worth the extra money. Also, still no green peppers… 🤷🏻‍♂️

1st time I came here was enjoyable. But recently when I went it was very disappointing.

My phone had died and I couldn’t pay for parking. I asked for help, to cash some bills for quarters and they didn’t have cash. Absolutely no cash in a place of business.

They didn’t have a way to charge my phone, which is fine, but I had no way of paying for my parking. I was able to finally settle it after they gave me only a few quarters from their office.

They don’t have actual food menus, so I was unable to even order food without a phone. Not even a single printed menu. It’s not my job, guys. You provide the menus. The customer orders. You make the food. The customer eats, and has options to pay.

We are not there for you. You are there for us.

The waitress brought over a machine and was so unhelpful in even giving me any kind of clue of what they even had, just sort of scrolling through these vague menu items like we were on instagram, offering absolutely no ideas, and kind of subtly blaming me with questions like “so like what do you want?”

I don’t know. I need what’s called “a menu.”

I finally had to be the adult about it and I just ordered as simple a pizza as I could, keeping it simple as possible for them. I actually wanted something else but had given up on this being an experience for my own leisure.

They don’t take drink orders for you or even bring you a water. A napkin and a water will keep your customer from getting up and walking out.

When the food came out, they didn’t even bring a plate. Just a pizza on a coffee can. Wow, thanks guys. You really value us.

A pizza on a coffee can. This place really respects itself.

I asked the guy if I could have a plate please to put my pizza on, (you know so I don’t drip tomato sauce all over the table like a pig in front of my friends), and he actually told me to go get it myself from some random shelf that he had just walked past while bringing out the pizza

Who’s training this next generation?

I maintained my politeness but wow, this place is falling right in line with all the other technocracies and bureacracies driving the world insane these days. If you don’t come with a bunch of your own crap and expectation to do half the peoples’ jobs for them, you won’t get the simple things that used to be offered by human beings who had purpose.

It would have been so simple to make a customer happy, like have change, menus, bring plates with food, dont put pizzas on any old random thing you found in the kitchen.

I had to leave early because I had only had a few quarters to pay for my parking and didn’t even get to enjoy my time completely.

Final advice: Guys, we can make our own food at home.

It’s been long ago realized that customers choose to come to restaurants for service and atmosphere.

It’s bad enough I have to check my own groceries out now at supermarkets or am forced to tip bad service for jobs not even done well.

I have a different job. It is not my job to get a plate to put my pizza on. You can bring a plate out with the pizza, or if, that doesn’t make sense to you, if a customer asks for a plate, you can make them feel treated, go get them a plate, and not point to the plates and make him get up from his lunch date with friends. Insulting.

We are there for your SERVICE. It’s no wonder I heard one of the waitresses complain that she basically paid to be at work that day (she made zero money). Cheap service equals cheap results.

The world is going downhill in many ways. And this place is one of those that decided to join in the indifference.

Here’s an absurdity: If you don’t have your phone charged- you might not even be able to eat.

I am absolutely shocked at the lack of basic awareness of service. Feels as bad as Eastern Europe version of service, not the United States.

Except the incompetence here comes from a complete lack of fundamentals, rather than a loss of morale. Whoever designed this business has no idea of what hospitality looks like.

Rant over, but this place needs to hear it. Bring...

This place has a lot of potential but there are also big issues. I will start with the good. The atmosphere is great. The beer garden out back as well as the outdoor seating out front is awesome. The burgers and fries were good and the beer selection is huge. The beers are also very tasty.

Now the bad. The idea of serving yourself is cool. I like the concept but in order for it to work, the staff has to actually be motivated to do a good job. That's lacking here in a big way. And it extends to all of the staff we encountered not just 1 so I think it's a cultural / management issue at this point. 3 out of 4 orders were incorrect. The burger had toppings on it that weren't ordered, the side items that were ordered were not included and the pizza was severely undercooked.

Secondly, the serve yourself station was lacking items and people had to be tracked down to restock them. Finally, asking for the tip before you even get your stuff is backwards because now what motivation do these people have to even give a crap? None apparently and that was evident. Why am I tipping when I'm doing all the work anyway?

I would come back here maybe for a drink and to sit in the beer garden but I would not come back for the food. The whole process is frustrating and...

We came in yesterday. 7/09. Party of 2.

The burgers are 100/10. So juicy and cooked to perfection! We’ll be back soon, for sure! I also loved the margarita flight. Very tasty and worth the money because I was definitely feeling good after consuming three of the four margaritas! I wasn’t crazy about the Cheer-wine margarita, but to each their own.

Service was not 100/10. We sat at the bar. The bar code at our feet was a hassle to capture on our phones. We were trying our hardest until our patience ran out. Our bartender/server was not attentive. We were 2 of maybe 6-7 people at the bar with 3 bartenders on hand. We came in at a slow time of the day. I have a serving background of 12 years and I was not pleased with the service.

The Atmosphere was really cool. We loved y’all’s horse/dinosaur design. We thought that was really creative. We also love that yall play trivia.

Besides the service, we’ll be back for your burgers, margarita flight, and trivia. I’m giving our bartender/server the benefit of the doubt because maybe yesterday wasn’t her day. She’s wasn’t rude. I just think her focus wasn’t on us. Just one of...
