Not my first visit to this location, but will likely be my last. Visited for lunch between appointments with my husband and 2 of my granddaughters, ages 4 and 1.
Hostess took us to a table that had obviously not been wiped down, crumbs and water puddles on the table, and I asked if we could get it wiped down. She acted offended and asked me "what?" so I pointed out that the table was not clean. I went to the restroom, and the table was clean when I came back. The ladies room was a mess, and though I'm fully aware that it was most likely customers who caused the mess, it is the establishment's responsibility to make sure that the facilities are clean.
The food was fine, not great, but OK. Our server on the other hand, left plenty to be desired. His name tag said his name was Ryan. He walked past our table 5 or 6 times and didn't even acknowledege our presence. We sat there for 15 minutes before he even took our drink order. I would have left, but 4 year old had her heart set on pancakes. He finally took our drink order and brought our drinks out, only to have mine wrong. I drank it anyway, as Ryan seemed to struggle with even basic server skills. My husband needed a refill, and Ryan walked past us no less than 4 times without even looking at us, before I called him out and asked him to refill the glass. My husband and I both ordered omelets with pancakes for our side item. He brought our omelets and said "will get those pancakes right out" and 20 minutes later, we had to ask for the pancakes. It was NOT a kitchen problem, as I saw many orders of pancakes being served in that time.
As we were leaving, heard another customer make the statement "I guess it is seat yourself day," and he was told by someone behind the counter "no, there's supposed to be someone hosting, but I don't know where they're at."
Maybe it was an off day, but there are way too many places to eat in town to take a...
Read moreThe only reason I'm leaving one star is so I can review them. I didn't leave a review the first time we were there. Anyone who knows me on here knows I'm a chef and a food critic but I tend not to rate fast food places unless there is exceptional service or chains. The first time we ate here our waitress was distraught because one of the cooks has just got stabbed in the parking lot and they had to call the cops and ambulance. The food took a long time and the waitress was scared and wanted to go home and the manager told her if she did she'd get fired. My fiancee didn't want to go back but we had company down that wanted to go so we took them and we get there and there's a short wait two families infront of us who were seated immediately. The family infront of us was told they could wait in the pre lobby where there was air conditioning. They were shortly seated there after. So we went in to wait as we had an infant with us. We were told to leave that area and we told the lady we were on the list after the other 2 tables were seated and allowed to wait in that area. We were next my fiance told them that we had a baby and it was too hot outside and that the table before was allowed to wait she looked at her iPad and said you guys have 30 minutes and something about the health department on a Sunday and pretty much bullied us back outside after she literally told the people infront of us that they could come wait in the air conditioning. We politely waited until they were seated to go in. Mind you we didn't go to the second lobby we did not sit down or break any social distancing rules. Hands down the rudist most inconsiderate place I've...
Read moreAbsolutely the WORST dining experience and will never go back!!! The manager definitely needs to be replaced because she has NO idea how to run a restaurant. The server took my and my husbands order without writing it down or repeating it back to us. First mistake, which also shows lack of training! My husband receives his breakfast but no sign of mine! Server comes back with some excuse about not sending it in correctly. Again, lack of training! I ordered the sauce ots for my omelet. When the omelet finally comes out, my husband is now done eating mind you, the omelet has the sauce on it. Server said manager is going to take it off the bill. I took literally 2 bites because I was hungry, tired of waiting and had no desire to send it back and wait even longer. Server brings out plain pancakes after I had ordered the blueberry/lemon protein pancakes. Again, she should have made sure the order was written down and correct! Had to wait for my correct pancakes. At this point I am aggravated and not even hungry. No manager ever came by to check on guest, servers or operations of the back of the house. Absolutely Unacceptable!!! After this horrible experience I received the bill of $43.00 and was told since I took those 2 or 3 bites of the omlet, I would have to pay for it. So IHOP gives my husband and myself an absolute horrible dining experience and then charges us for it! What a terrible way to do business! This business will never see my...
