The Human Bean — Restaurant in Wilsonville

It may be my fault for going back, but sometimes when I’m heading from tualatin to aurora there is no other convenient spot to stop. I don’t really understand what always goes so wrong here….the girls are very nice but they have never one time gotten my order correct. Last time I was just getting a chocolate milk for my daughter and when I got to the window they said well we weren’t able to make it her because you didn’t tell us whether you wanted it hot or cold…anywhere I go if you order a chocolate milk it comes cold…..yesterday…I ordered a kids HOT chocolate and received a cold milk…I said this is supposed to be a hot chocolate and they said it is.

I asked if they had sugar free peppermint and white chocolate and they said yes. I ordered a SF grande peppermint white chocolate mocha and she asked if I wanted the grande 16 or 20 OZ…then said she needed to make sure if they had the flavors. She then said okay sugar free peppermint latte…I said no a sugar free peppermint white chocolate mocha….( which is one of their featured holiday drinks ) and she was like …okay a peppermint mocha…I said nope a peppermint white chocolate….

I got it and it tasted like an iced mocha with four pumps of regular chocolate in it, and it was very dark…I could tell by the color it was wrong. There was no peppermint and nothing was sugar free. I was meeting my son’s dad so I didn’t have time for them to remake it but I don’t understand what always gets crossed up when the orders are being taken…and think maybe they need to be writing it down or something. I know better than to get anything hot because it tastes like they make their hot drinks with drip coffee instead of pulled espresso. It is sometimes possible to get a good iced drink...

i normally never leave reviews since we’re all humans who make mistakes but i was so taken aback by this lady. we were in the middle of ordering and she asked if that was everything, my boyfriend leaned over to ask me if i wanted anything but not even two seconds later she just said “ok pull up to the first window.” without even giving time to speak. we told her we were not done ordering and continued to order another sandwich and told her that was everything to which she replied “are you sure??” in a rude and almost mocking/condescending way. when we pulled up to grab our food she was just talking to her coworkers and laughing and it was pretty frustrating. i genuinely have not gotten service so infuriating that i’ve had to leave a review especially one so negative. yes this was the wilsonville location next to carl’s jr. this experience made me want to avoid this location as much as i...

I'm very picky when it comes to my coffee. I had an appointment near by and I had 25 mins before that appointment. So I decided to give The Human Bean a try. I asked them how was the drip coffee strong , medium or light. Wasen't totally sure I would like it. The very nice young ladies offered me a sample and said if I didn't like it they would make me some thing eles. I took a sip and it tasted ok but just a bit to dark and strong for my liking. So after chatting with the employees and finding out that the chocolate in the mocha is vegan I decided on a 12oz oat milk mocha. The employees were all very pleasant and helpful.
