It's fast food. Don't expect authenticity... expect salad oil drenched food. If you pay attention to detail they always have new people, therefore their turnover is likey high, probably due to poor management and work life culture, and misson and values statements that are very rarely met by anyone including and or especially managment and upper management. unsustainable expectations for level entry workers who are always generally exploited in these sort of jobs. There for you see a lot of inconsistent service. It's just another fast food joint. You get what you pay for. If your paying for fast food then that's what you're going to get. FAST food and everyone's miserable. Your better off spending money on an authentic Chinese restaurant. Also apparently they won't hire minors? Huh? I have had a few friends who work here and who say it's absolutely miserable work, avoid at all cost! New management every sixth months to a year, its part of their whole thing. "Development," also there's no point in a job description, as they use manipulative language in the hand book "win win" means whenever they're short staffed, (which is always due to toxic work culture) , inevitably means you will be doing every job description in the joint. Managment is often bonus motovated, lacks empathy, and are often poor communicators. If you become managment you will work an upwards of 50-60 hrs with consecutive days off being off-limits. Work and personal life balance is almost non existant for management. Assosiates often ignored or gaslit when trying to advocate for their mental health. There's probably a reason these people don't seem pleased or happy to be...
Read moreWe have eaten at panda plenty of times in the state but this one is our new favorite... Ryan and a team behind the wok did an amazing job when you first walk in the restaurant, you'll notice how clean it is as well as when you approach the counter. We've been to many pandas and sometimes when you get there there are quite a few things they're out of not here. Upon getting to the counter all of the bowls were full, looked fresh and everything was clean. After placing our order, one of the items I wanted was a few minutes out. We were asked if we had a problem waiting. We said no. As we paid for our order, we both ordered Waters but were told we could have a complimentary drink while we waited. For being as busy as it was, the restaurant was actually quite quiet. We got our table and only had to wait probably a minute before Ryan came around the corner with our meals. Piping hot. Plenty of food spiced just the way we like good and hot... Everything was fresh and tasted amazing. We had a bowl and a plate. The bowl was wok fire shrimp The plate was wok fire shrimp and The sweet fire Chicken. I had noodles and greens. She had noodles and rice.... A pretty steady stream of people entered and exited as they were busy behind the counter, but a line never formed. If you're on your way through wilsonville or you live here and you like Panda, this is the one to go to... If you haven't tried Panda and you're in the area or driving through definitely stop in here and give it a whirl.... We get down this way quite often and believe me we will definitely stop...
Read moreThe young man at the window made a mistake and did not give me a receipt. I pointed out the sign that said the meal, a $10.30 plate, would be on them. He came back with a receipt. I pointed out the sign and read it to him. He left and brought the manager, Kristen, back, who told me I would not get the meal because I got a receipt. I pointed at the sign and said, "But that is not what the sign says." She said, "I don't know, what does the sign say," so I read it to her. She responded, "Well, I am not giving you a meal. You got a receipt, I give you an appetizer, but that's it." Anyway, this went on, probably 10 to 15 minutes. It was ridiculous. My experience of her was that she was rude and argumentative. I could go on and on about the conversation but eventually she called someone (while several very angry customers waited behind me in the drive through) and after a few minutes she came back and asked for my reciept so she could refund me. Her tone and attitude took a complete about face. She behaved exactly as I would have thought a manager would have acted in the case from the beginning. She refunded my meal, and I quietly went on my way.
I am glad it is over. It goes without saying, I will not be going back to the Wilsonville, oregon...
