"End of a era" All good things come to an end, right? Grew up in the forest grove area and pizza schmizza was my go to place for any special occasion pizza night (birthdays, special visitors). The Zorba quickly became a family favorite (once they used alligator meat back in the day at the forest grove location!). Since moving out of that area the closest location was the one in Wilsonville. Order from them 2-3 times a year. About a 30 minute drive. The last couple of visits were not good at all. My birthday a couple weeks ago we put in a online for pick up order for 1 Large Zorba Pizza, 1 Large Genoa and Wings. We put it in about noon for a 3:30 pm pick up. They call us a few minutes later to say they are out of spaghetti noodles, then offer penne noodles instead. We said no thanks, just no noodles then. Fast forward to when we pick up, I open the boxes to inspect. First one Zorba had the very Penne noodles in it that we declined. Then the Genoa I saw had no olives on it at all. The employee said Oh yeah, the cook said we are all out of olives. I close the box take my order and leave because I am not confrontational and try to make best, even though I paid good money for this special meal. I just thought it was bad service all around. The Zorba was not good this time either. Pesto seasoning on chicken was almost inexistant and overall bland. Had to chop up a can of olives when we got back. I just couldnt believe the dude was going to not tell me about the olives not being on the pizza. We paid full price for this order and it didnt feel right. I will be more mindful when choosing a pizza place...
Read moreHonestly I feel like the people working here have never worked a professional food industry job in their life. Between, the rushed attitude to even take our order and the simple fact that major parts of our order were forgotten. I can truly say this is one of my worst experiences at a restaurant. I understand that times are tough to find more employees. I also understand that quality will not be a 5-star sit down restaurant. With that being said, the steak from my wife's salad was as near to gold as it was to good food. It was so rubbery and had no flavor at all. The bread sticks tasted and felt as though they were cooked two days ago. We've been to our local schmizza and have always had a great experience. This is why we chose to stop and eat here, needless to say I will never be back to this establishment and neither will my family. To conclude, this dining experience was far from an enjoyable time out, the management had less than no care as to our terrible time and, I cannot stress this enough, the food was worse than gas...
Read moreI usually do not write reviews but I was not happy with the customer service I had tonight. I walked up to the counter to order my slices, but had to wait first before the two employees finished their conversation all while shoveling food in their face. As I was looking at the menus deciding what else to get, the employee taking my order started a new conversation with the young gentleman behind me. I then had to wait again for their conversation and flirting to end to complete my order. As I was about to pay the girl taking the payment did not say one word to me, then turned to her friend and starts talking. As I was waiting for my order the workers proceeded to eat the food, that was next to the food they were serving. My order ended up being wrong and did not get everything I ordered. I didn’t realize until I got in the car but didn’t even want to step foot back in their to deal with young immature employees. Food was good, just wish someone taught these young employees how to be semi professional and provide good...
