Cake Daddy's — Restaurant in Wilton Manors

Cake Daddy’s is INCREDIBLE! We live in Tampa and came down to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday. I was so busy planning everything else I completely forgot to order a cake. Panicking at 4am only a few days away from our trip I’m searching bakery’s in the area and came across Cake Daddy’s, and I’m SO GLAD I did. I placed an online order and was having technical issues and was so worried I didn’t actually place my order and was anxiously waiting all day at work for them to open so I could call and place the order. Victor the owner who is incredibly punctual, kind, and accommodating called me before I could even call him, to reassure me he did get my order there were no issues and he already had it scheduled on the books. The day of the scheduled pick up, boyfriend and I had too many mimosas completely forgot to go get the cake. One of the staff members (I unfortunately did not get a name) also incredibly kind and accommodating called me to remind me it was ready. The cake itself was TO DIE FOR we got the coconut cake with buttercream and it was INCREDIBLE the flavor, texture, presentation, everything was phenomenal. My boyfriend and I spent the remaining days of our trip talking about how sad we were that we didn’t live closer to visit regularly but we assuredly will be back to Cake Daddy’s next time we’re in...

We came across this gem while leisurely driving down wilton drive in the Fort Lauderdale area. This place stands out with it's hot pink patio furniture! It caught our eye and once we saw the name, CAKE DADDY, how could we not stop to check out the tantalizing treats! And tantalizing is an understatement! The decor of this place is fantastic and whimsically! Make sure you check out the bathroom, yes, that's right, the bathroom, the imagination of the owners is incredible. Anyways, I digress, let's get to the good stuff...all the wonderful baked goodies!! We couldn't resist trying a few of the oversized cupcakes... lemon blueberry( so yummy and summer fresh), chocolate raspberry ( need I say more), Red velvet (so delish with creamy icing) and my favorite, the carrot cake with cream cheese icing! You can tell they make these treats with care and love!! Worth every dollar! We also tried the peanut butter thumb print cookie and the keylime tart with a thick, buttery graham cracker crust and whipped cream topping! Next time we are getting a cake. You must check this place out for a quick treat or better yet, bring some of cake daddy to your next celebration, you will be the hit of the party!! Had to post lots of pictures cuz it...

Finally a Bakery in this town where you can have a great coffee and a nosh to go with it, like the delicious cinnamon rolls warmed up with that glaze 🤤…. It’s perfect.

Personally, my favorite is the carrot cake (always my birthday cake) that Victor crafts with so much love, but you can’t go wrong with any other pastries they serve at this place.

I believe a crafted delicious frosted cake should be enjoyed as is. Some people may like to have their cake warmed. There are several interesting personalities with diverse opinions on this town. Im sure the bakery will warm cake upon request.

Todd at the counter made a great latte this morning for me and as a coffee snob I just say that was a damn good coffee… thank you Todd!

The staff at Cake Daddy’s are friendly and attentive, just keep in mind it just recently open and still adjusting to the demanding WM and FFL costumers. Be kind and show your love to all our businesses in town keeping the friendly LGBTQ culture we want in this...
