Unlock the Flavor at Apt 9f: Where Every Visit Feels Like Home!

Are you in the mood for a spot that feels like a perfect blend of bar and restaurant? Look no further than Apt 9f! Located in the heart of Wilton Manors, this cozy, LGBTQIA+ owned venue boasts an artistic ambiance with warm lighting and eclectic wall art, including a vibrant orange wall adorned with various framed pictures. Whether you’re looking for a lively social scene or a quiet corner to relax, Apt 9f offers an intimate setting with comfortable armchairs, small tables, and a stylish bar area complete with a dark color scheme, well-organized shelves of bottles, and pendant lights casting a warm glow. There’s even a TV for those interested in sports or entertainment.

The community-oriented atmosphere is welcoming, inviting a diverse group of patrons with attentive staff enhancing the hospitable environment. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and given the choice of where to sit. Opting for the outdoor seating on a nice day, we appreciated that the staff didn’t neglect patrons sitting outside—a rarity in the area. Our drinks arrived promptly, and the service was impressively swift.

Now, Let’s Talk Food

BBQ Chicken Flatbread: This dish is a must-try! The smoky, tangy BBQ sauce combined with tender chicken and jalapeños creates a perfect blend of savory and spicy flavors. It’s addictive and will leave you craving more.

Chicken Quesadilla: The cilantro crema that accompanies the quesadilla elevates it to another level, making each bite a flavor-packed delight.

Turkey Meatballs: Although they didn’t quite hit the mark this time, they were memorable enough from my first visit to warrant another try. They’re worth a second chance, and I’m eager to see if they match my initial experience.

Drinks

My partner raved about the Espresso Martinis, having two of them and declaring them a standout feature of Apt 9f. Although they are a bit pricey, the quality justifies the cost. My partner, a selective drinker, found these martinis far superior to those from other venues. As for me, I don't drink alcohol, but my partner’s praise speaks volumes.

Overall Experience

I love Apt 9f! It's not just a bar or a restaurant; it’s a perfect fusion of both with outstanding appetizers. Whether you’re planning a fun night out with friends or a quiet, intimate evening, Apt 9f caters to all. Don't miss out on this gem—come and enjoy the unique vibe, friendly service, and fantastic food and drinks. You won’t be...

Best steak salad EVER. Went back two days in a row. Not pretentious. Not over the top anything. Just a VERY comfortable place. Everyone is “Honey” and it’s a good thing. Almost as I imagine visiting your nurturing older sister’s house while in her town. Allie and Mark (I could have this wrong-drinks were good) were amazing. My wife and I sat at the bar and people-watched. Raspberry Spritzer and a Toasted Almond were served and the show began. Allie and Mark-I really think those are their names- were conductors in an orchestra of orders and customers. Thursday night rush or a popular place anytime….. but they were constantly and deliberately moving. Freddie was working to run food and bus tables and make sure EVERYONE had a great experience. Our steak salad and Bbq flatbread were plated beautifully. I had the steak salad and it has a champagne vignagrette over candied pecans, sliced pear, and other goodness. We also had the goat cheese skillet…. The bread it was served with was VERY GOOD. The goat cheese was too spicy for me…. But my wife liked it.

The MVP of the night might have been the chef’s assistant… or the cook’s right hand. Sitting at the bar we had a full view into the open kitchen. Picture a two foot square area surrounded by tools and appliances and filled with TALENT. The chef is good…. But she was having a come-a-part and it showed to us as spectators. As diners…. The food didn’t show it. The assistant… talented, female, tan, brown hair …. Never heard her name….. but she put out fire after fire in the fire in the mind of the chef……. Talked her off the ledge multiple times……

Like I said the food was great…. The assistant was an MVP and Mark and Ellie? Allie? Hallie? Tattood right arm…. Shakes a mean martini….. ellie I think…. She and mark were great!!!!

Might have one more...

Beautiful Apt Brunch! Apt 9F, Wilton Manors Gotta check out this new place on Wilton Drive by owners and wives Carol Moran and Nancy Goldwin! The restaurant is the cutest little place with BIG quality — they’ve truly focussed on the smallest details and that’s where the true magic happens: smaller and focussed menu, perfect music, amazing staff, great decor and amazing presentation. Carol went on to tell us she’s owned multiple businesses and this is her latest success — named after a former apartment in New York City!

Two of their top brunch dishes were the Salmon & Avocado Toast and the Beef Wellington and Cast Iron Eggs — I’ve had avocado toast many times and I was advised it was a heavier portion, so I chose the Beef Wellington — and WOW — I worked to savor every single bite with the perfect puffed pastry wrapped filet mignon, dabbed in the most amazing sauce and complemented by the most perfectly cooked eggs in cast iron — it didn’t look like much in volume, but I was the last one to finish my meal as I truly enjoyed bite-by-bite. I was informed, however, that the salmon was probably the best they had ever had. A Bottomless mimosa is another brunch must-have, and it was not only perfectly made but it also certainly...

If you’re looking for a place that’s entirely too perfect, where the vibes are immaculate, the owners are way too charming, and the drinks somehow always hit just right—don’t come to Apt9f. Leave it to us. We’ve practically set up camp and now just refer to it as “HQ.” Carol and Nancy? Ugh. Could they be any more delightful? It’s honestly rude how effortlessly cool they are. Ally runs the show like a cocktail-slinging wizard with a psychic sense for what you need before you even know you need it. Frankly, we’re starting to think she’s magic. Or at least part espresso. From the cozy decor to the can’t-miss events and that “just one more” energy that keeps you staying far longer than intended—it’s honestly unfair how good this place is. So yeah, 5 stars. Reluctantly. Only because 6 isn’t an option. Just don’t take our seats—we’re probably already there.
