08/06/2024 Tonight I had the Crispy Tender Platter with a side salad and onion rings, Chi had the Mojo Chicken, with veggies and sweet plantains. Both dishes were of their usual, enjoyable high quality! Well prepared and flavorful, just as we have come to expect. The owners and crew are all great people, very friendly and doing a good job in a competitive environment! We look forward to dining here regularly and it is on our list of personal favorites. They also do cabaret style shows later in the evenings, around 9 pm with a variety of performers throughout the year. We have stayed for many shows and very much enjoyed them whenever we are able to. Perhaps we'll see you there sometime. 07/11/2024 Tonight we went for the formerly Monday night Burger Special that is now the Thursday night Burger Special. Chi had the "Dirty Love" Burger, which is his favorite, and I had my favorite, Bacon Cheeseburger. We also shared an order of onion rings, theirs are QUITE delicious, and stay crispy even after they cool off. They were setting up for the show that begins around 9 pm, we have stayed for them in the past and they are usually very enjoying and entertaining however, tonight we were both a little tired so we did not stay. Overall, we continue to be pleased with the food, service, staff, and the shows and will be dining here as we do. 06/16/24 Went for breakfast Sunday morning, we both had the gladiator breakfast, it is a big breakfast that is served with really good biscuits and gravy on a sizzle platter. I had grits with mine, Chi had home fries with his. Both were excellent and could easily become a breakfast favorite! Previous post. And now we have Myth Gastrobar.. We have made several visits since the change of ownership and brand, I will say that overall, the experience has improved. The renovation is pretty much completed and the place looks very nice. The menu has been pared down a bit from the previous, but the selection does still include many of the old favorites as well as a nice selection of new items. This visit I had the Mojo Pork, with onion rings and sweet plantains, Chi had the Mojo Chicken, with the same sides as I had. Both dishes were quite delicious, well prepared and served. They are both regular menu items and we will order them again. Something I want to mention is that they do shows several nights a week that begin at 8 pm so, I suggest that if you just want to dine, arrive before 7 pm so you can get a seat. Also, according to their web page, they now accept reservations, I have not yet utilized that however, I'm certain I shall in the future. They have some good, new, staff on the floor, the kitchen team is the same as before and the food has been consistently good. There are various specials that we have seen, and tried a few, so far, everything has been good. We look forward to seeing it grow under the new ownership and will continue to patronize the new Myth Gastrobar. Cheers. Previous review: We used to come here whenever we visited Ft Lauderdale. Now that we live here, we are very much regulars! We love the staff, the food is really quite good. They offer great specials on various days as well as a very good prime rib on Tuesday night.. it can get pretty busy at certain times during the day but there is plenty of seating inside as well as the big patio area outside in the back. A cool neighborhood place in the heart of Wilton Manors, where Lots of locals as well as visitors can be found.. and there is ALWAYS something nice to look at. 😉

rom the moment I stepped into this charming gastropub nestled in the heart of Wilton Manors, I knew I was in for a treat. The scenery is simply unparalleled – with its cozy, welcoming atmosphere, complemented by tasteful, rustic decor that makes you feel right at home. Every corner of this place is thoughtfully designed, creating a perfect blend of comfort and elegance that invites you to relax and savor the moment. But what truly sets this gastropub apart is its exceptional customer service. The staff greeted us with warm smiles and were incredibly attentive throughout our visit, ensuring our experience was nothing short of perfect. Their recommendations were spot on, adding a personal touch that made our meal even more special. It’s evident that they take pride in their work and go above and beyond to make every guest feel valued and taken care of. And then there’s the food – oh, the food! Each dish was a masterpiece, beautifully presented and bursting with flavors that dance on your palate. From the succulent starters to the mouth-watering mains and divine desserts, it’s clear that the kitchen uses only the freshest, high-quality ingredients. The menu offers a delightful fusion of traditional and innovative dishes, catering to all tastes and preferences. Every bite was a revelation, leaving us eagerly anticipating our next visit. In summary, this gastropub in Wilton Manors is a gem that offers an unforgettable dining experience. With its stunning scenery, exemplary customer service, and culinary excellence, it’s a place that not only meets but exceeds expectations. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a meal here. You won’t be disappointed.

No longer Shawn and Nicks but called Myth Gastrobar :( I really wanted to like the place but really miss the diner that is now trying to be something it can never be. The only Myth here is good food. The place has no clue what it wants to be, diner or upscale restaurant, and it does neither well. The place has been cleaned up be feels sterile and blah. They did do a nice job on the patio, but that's where anything of value stops. With a mostly new staff, an, at best temperamental new POS system, and a bipolar menu, service is slow, understaffed, and clueless. Not quite a diner, not quite a pub; it is like bar food that other places on the drive do much better, including their new slant towards Latin foods. Sadly, Wilton Manors has no real diners left, and this place and its long history are now tarnished and forgotten. The service is ok, the prices are ok, but the food is just not good. My last meal was the country fried steak, and it was a somehow burnt and mushy mess with gravy that was more seawater than anything else, the potatoes were fine, but the side of WARM coleslaw covered in fluid that spread across the plate was just a no-go from the moment the plate hit the table. My mother would say bless their hearts for trying, but this Myth as it is, should have stayed a Myth!

So I went into the Courtyard Cafe around am to grab a bite to eat, and sat at the bar near the kitchen window. As I'm sitting there I am noticed by the Dishwasher Corey who goes to the cook Seth and says I just looked out there and saw Joe, the cook Seth replies to him and says yeah I know I should SPIT in his food....... Now let's back track here for a brief moment and try to understand why the lead 3rd shift cook would want to SPIT in the food he is preparing to serve to a paying customer. Not long ago someone had written a horrible statement about me and stated that they would not remove their remark until I was fired. No one from management came to me to get some type of clarification as to what was going on. Instead after finishing a working Saturday night shift to am, Sunday morning, the Kitchen Manager was till the grill cook and showing the grill cook the comments that were said about myself and saying this is why he has to go. And ten minutes later as I am walking out the door to leave this manager steps outside and says my services are no longer needed. So now the grill cook gets promoted to lead 3rd shift cook, and as of early this Friday morning either did or wanted to SPIT into my meal. A win win for everyone even the real meth head, who found out who he was because I had been with his ex, which the meth head seemed to beat up on, was jealous. And made up this lie to try and ruin me and my job at the Courtyard CAfe. I have to say that in the end when all is said and has been done, I sleep way much better at night, very little stress, and had my surgery not worry about the management getting upset because of it. And if I look around at those that did cause some wrong, and or just didn't bother in asking what was really going on at the time, still bitter today hating life and just out to make everyone else around them miserable. So thank you to everyone who took part, but let's be real do you really feel you have any right whatsoever to Spit in...

My friend and I had dinner here last night. It was around 830, the place was not very crowded. Sadly we were disappointed. I don’t know that the name of the place being “Gastro bar” fits the food being served. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they came out sizzling. It looked promising. The accompaniments that came with it were sour cream, guacamole, rice, and black beans. The rice was ice cold and hard. The beans were barely warm. There was no cheese or pico de gallo served with them which I found odd. My friend ordered a turkey burger. They sent out the wrong burger first, OK , mistakes happen - no problem. But then the turkey burger came out and it was not cooked fully or heated (I should say) fully. It was mushy and luke warm in the center. So he sent that back and ordered chicken tenders. They were adequate… nothing special. It seemed to us that most food is just frozen food that is heated up or fried - nothing seemed homemade or freshly prepared. I did ask to speak to someone about our experience, and a night manager came over and she was extremely pleasant and receptive to the feedback. Putting all that aside because I was not even planning to leave a review, the most frustrating part of our experience was that I know for a fact, the owner was there, and he knew we were not happy, and he blatantly ignored us, never even acknowledged our presence in the restaurant at any point - leaving it up to the waitress and the night manager to rectify things. Again, there were only about four tables with people seated. And it’s ironic he was so stand off-ish because 2 weeks earlier he was sitting outside and was begging us to come in to get a bite to eat as we walked by, and just kept talking and talking and talking trying to get our business. On this night, not so talkative and no attempts to make good on a bad experience. Well, he got our...
