I come here all of the time and always order the $34 Maine Lobster roll. This night I ordered the same roll and when I got home to eat it (after eating 2 pieces) I noticed slimy old looking red onions that were almost grey in color. My wife ate one piece and bit into something hard (which I think was overcooked shrimp tempura). I decided I couldn’t eat anymore of the roll, so I called the restaurant explained about the onions and asked if I can get my order remade or my money back. The guy on the phone said onions come in the lobster and there was nothing that could be done about that (but online it mentions nothing about onions). Then he tells me “the manager is not in and I can call back in 2 days.” I was not ok with that, so I asked if I could bring my food up there and get a new one made? And he agreed.

I get to the restaurant and the guy is standing at the counter, doesn’t greet me at all but reaches out for my food. He opens the box and tells the chef he can remake my order. Then he rudely says to me “if you didn’t like it, why did you basically eat all of it?” I was trying to have a conversation with him about the rolls but he wouldn’t even look at me. So I said, “I ate 2 pieces and my wife ate 1
” he cuts me off and says “there are 10 pieces and you ate almost all of it” he was being so rude about it and not letting me talk. I then asked about the onions and the chef was trying to explain that the onions come in the lobster ( which again, must be something new because all the times I’ve ordered this, there were no onions) and again the man cuts off the convo with another rude remark. He takes pictures of the food and counts the rolls that were left and said “there were 6 left out of 10 rolls.” So again I didn’t not eat ALL the rolls like he was accusing me of. The chef gives me my new freshly made rolls and I leave. When I look at my new food, there were NO onions in the lobster. But the rude man kept saying onions come in it and there isn’t anything they can do about that
I’m so disappointed in how I was treated the customer service was terrible and will not be back. That roll is the most expensive one on the menu, I would hope it would be fresh all the time and if onions come in it please specify online. I actually LOVE onions, but not old...

Hello... I've been a loyal customer for years and I go there every night. I even work across the street actually. Love the staff; EVERYONE is amazing. The food is unbelievably good 😍. In response to the previous review before mine (Anthony Almeida), when I arrived at Sushi Song to pick up my order, per usual Mr. Anthony Almeida was highly intoxicated and being loud and obnoxious, being the reason he's kicked out of majority of places in Wilton Manors, was being very hostile and aggressive towards one of the waitresses by the name of Hahnah. She had tears in her eyes and I asked if she wanted me to call the police. She insisted that I not call them. She said she'd be fine but I was worried for her safety had I left the restaurant, the way Mr. Anthony Almeida was talking to her and threatening to have her fired. Not only that but he made the nastiest comments about Hahnah's child. He was so aggressive that at one point I had to stand in his way to block her view... He got out of there the moment that I called the police because he felt guilty and knew that something was going to happen... Im very disappointed to see that he is pushing the envelope even further to try to get this young lady into trouble to just satisfy his own ego 🙄 Hahnah is a really beautiful soul and a JOY to have at ANY business. She is the reason I eat sushi. I didn't know about sushi before and after trying it one time there, she is the one that has me eating literally everything on the menu now... Shame on you Mr....

I ordered the sashimi combo which comes with 21 pieces according to the menu. When I got it, it only had 19 pieces and I questioned it. The waitress said I was correct and would ask the chef. He came to the table and said in aggressive manner what was wrong and I said there was only 19 pieces. He said no and we counted together. When it got to 19, he went silent and stormed into the kitchen and came back to the table and slams down a plate with 2 pieces of imitation crab in front of me. Says here. Then proceeds to tell me it’s chef choice and he gave me 1 sliver of expensive fish so, I shouldn’t get 21 pieces. I told him that’s fine if he would have told me that in the beginning. But the rudeness of his behavior made me not want the food anymore. I gave it back to them and said that I no longer wanted it and to have it taken off the bill. That his rudeness had turned me off from wanting it. That cooked shrimp and imitation crab shouldn’t have even been part of the plate anyways. I just questioned it and if he would have explained that he gave me an expensive cut instead, I would have been fine. When I asked it to be taken off he told the waitress to call the police. I just wanted to get out of there at that point. The waitress called the manager and the manager told her to take it off the check. It was my first time there and my last. Highly...

5-Star Review for Sushi Song: Absolutely phenomenal experience at Sushi Song! From the moment we walked in, the vibe was intimate, cool, and inviting—perfect for date night or a late-night sushi craving. The fish is incredibly fresh, the rolls are creative yet balanced, and the presentation is top-tier without feeling pretentious. We tried a variety of rolls, and every single one was a hit. The Sexy Lady and Ocean Drive rolls were standout favorites—bursting with flavor and beautifully plated. The sashimi literally melts in your mouth. You can tell the chefs here care about quality and precision. Service was attentive but relaxed, and the ambiance is exactly what you want from a modern sushi lounge: moody lighting, chill music, and an upscale but unpretentious atmosphere. Sushi Song has easily become one of our go-to sushi spots in South Florida. Highly recommend to anyone looking for top-quality sushi without the over-the-top price tag. A true hidden gem!

After a long and exhausting trial and error search for the perfect sushi spot in the city, I finally found what is now my go-to. Here's what I was looking for: (1) a place that was open all day in case I wanted to do a late lunch or early dinner; (2) offered quality dishes that were; (3) not super expensive or; (4) ridiculously stingy in size/quantity. Check, check, check, and check for the sushi house rightfully named Sushi Song - Gaysha. Now when trying a new sushi house, I always start with a miso soup. If the broth is good, I take it as a sign that the rest of the food will be too. Sushi Song - Gaysha's was incredibly appetizing, so I was really excited for what was to come next. They have a good selection of menu items plus a board of daily specials. All very good, but that last roll is what really won us over. Just look at how much deliciousness it's literally stuffed with - fresh fresh fish and a whole lot of flavor.

I've been several times and always enjoy the food and the sushi chefs, those guys are great. The location is easy to get to, a cozy size with a few bar stools and tasteful decoration. The specials are always special and worth checking out. Shrimp shumai is incredible as is the chicken gyoza, lots of flavor with a spicy dipping sauce. Poke bowl special looked and tasted great with some spice built in. Ask the chefs to surprise you with sushi choices, you won't be disappointed. The miso salmon was my absolute favorite.
