Primanti Bros. — Restaurant in Wilton Manors

Terrible experience today because of the manager. My Fiancé and I have been coming here regularly 2-4 times a week for the past two years and we have always loved it. We always seek out Marian as a server and she is wonderful. Marian and past experiences is why this is not a 1 star review.

Today was just like any other day we had Marian as a server, placed our order. When the food started to arrive we had an issue with garlic bread. They forgot to put garlic, oil and permission cheese on the bread, so we sent it back and they attempted to fix it. No big deal.

Then the pizza arrived... The pizza that was delivered to another table and made incorrectly for them so after discussing it for some time they brought the same pizza to our table and said our order was early. The pizza was not up to the standard we have come to love from this place so we asked if we could have another one that looked better. After much back and forth with the pizza the manager Mike came over. The behaviors Mike displayed as a manager were ridiculous! He was immediately aggressive with us and made statements that are totally inappropriate for someone in customer service industry. We explained to Mike that we saw the pizza get delivered to the other table, then sit back on the counter while they discussed the error. Mike said yes it was only 3 minutes. I explained to him that when they brought the pizza out it looked like a soupy mess and was not appealing " not their best work" to say the least. I watched them throw more cheese on it and put it back in the oven and then bring it to us again. I said honestly never mind about the pizza if that was their fix I am good and can go somewhere else. Mike then still aggressive went and grabbed a pizza that was in a box and said he has this one that is ready and asked me to look at it. Each time, it looked like the same pizza, I told him I am good and don’t want that. He then said "I will just take the pizza off since I can't make you happy." All I had asked for is what I ordered, a hot fresh pizza.

The way he spoke to us, and the aggressive tone he had with his language are not acceptable and we asked our wonderful server for the check and said I'm sorry but we will not be back.

She told us it was on the house. She didn’t have to do that but we do appreciate the gesture. I was looking for cash to hand her for a tip as I know it was not her fault. 10 sec later Mike brought us a check and said "I took the pizza off since I can't make you happy." Marian then said they didn’t get their food only the bread and half wings, Mike then said he will take care of it and we left.

My husband and I come here all the time. We know the staff well most of them Luis Mike and Belinda all very pleasant.We just flew back in from vacation before going home. I know this is a late comment because we really don’t like commenting on social media. There are times we have come after work on a Friday night and have even met the owner very pleasant and personable man ( but of course Pittsburgh guy) that’s what makes this hard for us this isn’t the first time we have had terrible service. We stop in on Saturday Night July 16th we saw Mike he said Hello like always and asked us how we were very pleasant and he said that him And Belinda were just commenting that they have not seen us and I quote “ Belinda was just asking about you guys and she was worried about you “ because she hasn’t seen you in 2 weeks. We said to each other wow she realized we haven’t been here. We put our order in and had a beer and when I tell you the other woman waitress was so annoyed we were there she was standing almost in front of us on her cell phone trying to book a airline flight we believe that is what it sounded like. I just wanted another beer to have with my pizza Mike was at tables and not near the bar, and this waitress stayed on her phone as if we were interrupting her, she looked at us and then turned away then another younger waitress helped us. What made us so upset that we are even commenting is she made her phone conversation so loud like we cared what she was doing.When we were getting ready to leave about 40 min later we asked for our bill as she was admiring her long finger nails she loudly yelled for the young lady “ can you give them there check”again while she stood there on a cell phone…. We know this is not the Primanti way!!! WE LOVE YOU GUYS!!! The food Belinda and Mike so we will keep to Wednesday Nights and sometimes Tuesdays sorry for the one star but my husband and I feel we needed to bring it to someone attention. So when you want that PA good feeling ( even with a Cleveland Brown waiter ) visit this location on a Wednesday Night with Mike and Belinda!!!! They will not...
