Subway — Restaurant in Winchester

Seriously the best Subway location ever! I don’t usually even LIKE Subway, but I currently have a lot of dietary restrictions and Subway is one of the few places I can eat out safely without interfering with my health, and I was hungry lol.

Anyway, there was a slight hiccup with my order due to the recent change in the sweet onion sauce-the new version contains soy, which I can’t eat, and the app still shows the original one, which is soy-free. I didn’t know they had changed it, and since the app didn’t mention anything about the change, that’s what I ordered. I had ordered delivery, so it wasn’t until the food arrived that I noticed the sauce was different. NOT the store’s fault, this was a corporate issue that they are supposedly working on.

Anyway, I called and explained the situation, and they made me a whole new sub, no questions asked! FANTASTIC customer service!! I did have to go in to pick up the new one, and it was impeccably clean. Looked like it had been recently remodeled too, it looked great. Nice and bright and welcoming. All the food looked and tasted very fresh. It was seriously so good I came back the very next day for another! The staff was so super friendly, it makes me sad this isn’t my local Subway. I will definitely make it a point to visit this location whenever I visit...

My son and I just left this Subway and we are pleasantly surprised by how fantastic the customer service experience was at this location. The store is immaculate - everything was spotlessly clean, the cutting boards and counters were pristine. The chips were even placed meticulously side by side on the chip rack. The pretty woman who made our sandwiches was friendly, genuinely kind and made us feel like royalty. This was the best experience I’ve ever had at Subway and I just wanted to come and leave a review letting them know they’re doing a wonderful job and to keep up the good work!

We will definitely be returning (which means passing another Subway location in town to drive to this one specifically.)

PS : Subway give us back sweet peppers and BBQ...

The multiple star reviews astound me. Yes the floors and such are clean, as they should be, but the food that is put out in the afternoon is often the same in the evening. The service is the absolute worst, which is in line with the Subway on Grocery Avenue a few miles away. The sandwich makers had no shame in wiping their noses as they made sandwiches. They are also incredibly slow. Today I waited 20 minutes for two subs, with one person in front of me and two workers. Also, because this particular restaurant is within city limits, there is an eleven percent tax. I haven't had a good experience there yet, so I guess while in Winchester, it would be better to try one of the competitors, or...
