Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Winnemucca

Fast service; we stopped during part of our move from Florida to California. They were not busy at all, and I'm not local so I don't know if they are busier at different times of day or not.

Good lord their milkshakes are THICK. This is both good and bad! Hahaha. I did, in fact, detract a star for the milkshake thickness. Its not really a milkshake if you can't drink it with a straw... Little bit thinner would be better. It was more like a large cup of cheap soft-serve ice cream.

I don't remember the food, so it was neither good nor bad. It was a burger, it was edible in the way that fast food is edible. You don't expect great things when it comes to a fast food hamburger. But it wasn't bad. Lettuce was crisp and fresh(ish). Not too much mustard or mayo on it.

All in all, if I were to go through the area, I'd stop in again. Jack in the Box is better for breakfast hits than it is for lunch hits. Price for four shakes, three combos, and a kids' meal hit me for a little over $60 if I remember... About the kind of price you can expect from fast food restaurants...

I live next door, and would occasionally eat here, but tonight was horrid. Walked over, in the rain for food, only got half the order. Had to walk back over for the rest of the food i paid for, and the kid tried to give me food that had been sitting, not only during the absurdly long wait, but also during my walks to and from the restuarant. When i said i wanted fresh food his response was "its only been 2 minutes" it had actually been closer to 10, but it doesnt matter. I paid for food made fresh. When i got home the second time, i found that he had filled my box of curly dries half full with regular. I will not be back until this moron no longer works there, as this is the second time the idiot screwed...

They forgot our drinks through drive thru. So we sat u til she noticed us then she thought I said rings instead of drinks so I signalled for another person who gave us our drinks. Then we pull over to check the food and we were missing fries. The guy at the front counter went to get my fries but there were none. So I waited. One other guy asked if he was getting my fries and he snapped that there were none and I would just have to wait. Then another lady walked up cause they forgot her salad and the rude guy was super sweet and apologetic to her. Really upset at the service. The up side is they did...
