Over priced, the menu is misleading, I asked for the 12.99 ice cream and asked for 2 , it came out to $31.00 , for two ice creams? Does it have Gold flakes or what?! I asked why they said oh it’s all the way and I was confused , the menu does not explain the all the way upgrade.. or it may be in fine print but I said the 12.99 like the photo. Any how, went to cold stone today for a huge ice cream all the way for $7.99! The tables had been sitting with people and not being wiped down after guest leave. I understand the next level of ingredients but I still would rather pay a Full dinner price for two people over an ice cream, and mind you I do enjoy spending my money and don’t mind, but this is Las Vegas or Miami priced. This has nothing to do if it’s out of someone’s budget, it’s about the over pricing an item for something it’s is truly not meant to be priced that way. Staff was meh to what the level of custumer service you are at least expecting for the price . Taste - taste was very bland ( the actual ice cream) it had almost no flavor if it wasn’t for the actual gansito I added. Now I would LOVE to pay a 12.99 price if it came with an actual mug I can re use, it came in a plastic small cup. Again it’s not about the money , it’s simply over pricing something not meant for that price. Also, please keep bathrooms clean. So dissaponted all around and I was so exited to come in. I am hoping the owner can care about all the bad reviews and make small changes so this very new business does not go out too soon and people actually desire...
Read moreLegends receives a 1-star review solely based on a phone interaction with the manager on duty Sunday. We called to report almost being hit by the Legends truck driver (LED truck) when he tried to merge into our lane as we were right beside him. The manager was rude and demonstrated an absolute lack of concern for our complaint. She said the driver was contracted by another company, but when asked who we needed to contact she claimed she did not know. She did everything she could to avoid answering the question even going so far as to turn it back around on us by stating it was the first complaint they'd received about the driver, which insinuated that our complaint was unimportant. She even said "well, you weren't hit or injured were you?". We told her that wasn't the point. The fact was that the driver was merging in an unsafe manner, and he would have hit us. When we asked for her manager's name, she hesitated before answering 'Esmerelda'. When we asked when Esmeralda was expected to be in again, she claimed she did not know and that she was probably in Charlotte at a new store opening.
A business can only be as good as the people who are in charge. The manager we spoke to has no business being in a position of authority to handle customer complaints. Based on our interaction with this manager, it is unlikely that Legends will be on our list of places we...
Read moreI really wanted to love this place. Having never been to their Greensboro location, I’m unsure if it’s always as chaotic as my visit or if it’s just because of how new this location is.
Seating is limited and ordering is confusing. Could benefit from signage on where to order, increased menu visibility, and better customer service. Lucha also suffers from a giant menu instead of focusing (and thus making great) on core offerings.
Our almost $8ea (after tax) “big loop churros” (pictured) were lacking in both chocolate and fruity pebbles. The churro itself would have been MUCH better if rolled in cinnamon sugar FIRST before applying the coating and toppings. Both our churros were over-fried and dry; again I attribute that somewhat to the chaos. However lots of employees seemed to be doing “a lot” while also doing nothing.
For the price we expected a lot more. Luchas seems to excel in Ice Cream offerings as everyone (15-20 customers) we saw on our visit, all had ice cream. I rarely eat ice cream and really was excited to have a churro, but sadly I was super disappointed. I would like to visit again and try something else, maybe the filled churros.
If the owners/operators are reading this I would suggest googling “the loop churro” in Southern California and maybe borrowing some of their Churro recipes... as they have the best custom churros I’ve...
