My family and I visited your Winston Salem location on Hanes Mall Blvd. I absolutely loved the store and all the options. When I was checking out I even mentioned It to the cashier how nice your store was and as I was doing that another cashier Don made an announcement asking the customers to please remove black hangers to make the checkout process quicker (understandable) then she says place them on the rack (okay cool) and then her tone changes and she says Not on the side but on the top and don’t put your cart in the check out line, put It back and some other things. While I understand she wants the store to look a certain way the way in which you say things make a world of difference. It started out okay and got really disrespectful. We are the customers not the employees so we don’t have to do your job for you and it’s not appropriate to “talk at” customers the way she did. My family were appalled and so was I and the shocked faces of the customers in line were a dead giveaway that they felt similar. My experience was wonderful up until that point. Again great store but if that’s here daily announcement she needs some customer...
Read moreRude Staff. Came in at 9:15pm this location does not close until 10pm. Bathrooms are already closed for the night but the lady lied to us and said it was being “cleaned” so I stood there waiting on it to finish being “cleaned” no one had been in or out of the locked bathroom in this time. Then she comes back up and says it’s closed for the night. Why lie?! Tell me that the first time so I don’t waste my time and holding my bladder. You have 45 mins until you close for customers to still shop and therefore try on close in the dressing rooms which by the way we’re still open, what sense does that make?! Bathrooms should be accessible for as long as you are open! Then waiting on my mother in law in the dressing room I was rudely asked to step out of the dressing room area with the buggy of clothing she was trying on. Just so she could close it off with again 30 mins before closing. No customer service in the...
Read moreI was visiting from out of town and stopped by and found some items that I really liked but decided NOT to spend my money at that store because of the attitude of the tall, African American lady who responded so nasty to a customer when asked if they could get another register opened because it was crowded and I guess they had been standing in line for a while. She could have said “It’ll be a moment ma’am” “We are short staffed right now but hope to get someone soon” Anything else to respond politely to the customer. Instead, she chose to say “We don’t have nobody” But there are at least 3-4 of them around at the time. More importantly, it wasn’t what she said but how she said it. It was then I decided she obviously didn’t need my business, so I put my stuff back and left, and so did a couple of other customers. Customer service is key and it is really easy to just politely address a costumer to calm a...
