Peach Cobbler Factory — Restaurant in Winston-Salem

First time experience here was pretty good, ordered two shakes and was helped by a young lady that gave us great suggestions.

Now as of today…they put such a bad taste in my mouth(no pun intended) with the customer service.

We ordered a few items on the menu, that ranged up to be $25+ so we were able to spin the wheel. Okay Boom we get a free cobbler. Nice! Upon expecting the order the shake was not what I originally wanted. I went back in to ask the much older lady, if she could remake the order with the shake I wanted. I even set the untouched shake on the counter and she said no that I would have to pay for a whole new one, because that’s what you ordered with a stank face.

Okay whatever I got upset and left, tried the shake and didn’t like it. In my opinion the shake I received wasn’t as good as the one I wanted. So I went back in and requested a refund, and she didn’t acknowledge me so I went back outside and asked my husband to do it.

By this point I’m extremely aggravated. visibly.

She tells my husband he has to pay for the FREE cobbler in order to get a refund! Huh? What sense does that make? My husband had to tell her how to de-escalate the situation. So he came back to the car grabbed the FREE cobbler and gave it to the lady. She suspected it opening to see if we did something to it.

You know what this lady said…’oh are you gonna pay for the original cobbler you wanted now”? Uh no! What a slap in the face with a sarcastic comment. Eventually we got our refund afterwards but after all that back and forth why would we come back?

Because we want to support black-owned businesses that’s why but come on! That’s why people don’t support then now. Some people just don’t belong in...

My husband and I tried this place for the first time this weekend. We decided to get the Sampler hoping to find a favorite we could then order more of. We paid $25 for two drinks, 3 banana puddings, and a peach cobbler which was part of the sampler. The puddings came in these small sample cups that had maybe 3 bites in them. Not enough for us to share like we thought. We chalked that up to being part of the sampler experience. We loved the puddings and cobbler though! On the way out, we asked if we bought a regular Banana Pudding for $8 what size does it come in thinking we would get some for the road. The lady behind the counter was super nice but explained for $8 it came in the clear sample cups. My husband and I were floored that for $8 you only get a little cup! I had been seeing people on Facebook and Instagram have larger cups. I thought maybe my question was not clear so I asked again and pointed to the cups our cobbler came in. I was told the only way to get banana pudding in a larger container than the small clear cups was to by a 13 by 9 sheet pan for $50. It's wild to me that you offer a tiny sample cup or a whole sheet pan and there's nothing in between. Especially considering the menu shows photos of the larger cups! No matter how delicious it is, three spoonfuls is not worth $8 so we won't be back anytime soon. Stop advertising large cups of pudding if you don't...

My husband heard of the great peach cobbler they had and ordered a blueberry and peach cobbler. He got home (40 mins drive) the peach cobbler was not in the bag. He gave them a call and they were nice and apologized and said he could come back and get it. He explained it was a 40 min drive works out of town not sure the next time he would be that way. They said that was not a problem they would take his name and whenever he was that way he could come in and get his peach cobbler. Awesome. Well today just shy of two weeks he was close by and called and the manager said no sorry can’t honor it she’ll call the other manager to call back. He called back and nope she was not going to honor it and give him the peach cobbler he paid for. We are talking about a little cup of peach cobbler and 1 scoop of ice cream. I was just shocked it was completely different customer service and there just did not care and would not honor it after he paid for it and did not receive it. She had a little attitude and everything just shocked.
